Would we reject revival?

Would we reject revival if it does not come the way we think revival should come, if it doesn't come the way Leonard Ravenhill says it should come, the way William Booth says, or the way Charles Finney says it should come?

When a revival comes, will we reject it because some things are hapening(i.e. physical manifestations,etc.)can not be found word for word in the scriptures? God said "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord".
Are we infallible when it comes to revival when most of us have never seen a genuine revival? We can have all kinds of conferences on revival that we want, and these are ok, this will not bring revival. Revival comes when we repent,pray and seek God, God will send revival.

So, the answer to the question will we reject revival when it does not come the way we think it should come? A resonding YES

CAN we reject revival ?
isn't the same spirit that brings revival supposed to be living in us and working through us ?
in that case, in order to reject revival we would first have to somehow "turn off" the holy spirit which is in us.
i find it hard to believe that a true christian can reject revival.

I've seen smaller revivals. The Cane Creek Revival last year with Ralph Sexton Jr pastoring. They began a week long tent revival just north of Asheville NC and it ended up running for 3 months. It was not one of those revivals you see on TV... no rolling on the ground or barking like dogs. It was a "saw dust trail" type of revival, with preaching the Word as the focal point. One night it's reported that there were about 4,000 people... and this was not Ralph Sexton Jr saying this, it was the secular media.

Oh, and just as a side note... the only version Sexton will use is a ... KJV.

So yes, I believe true revival is happening, but on a more local level.

Rejecting a true Move of God is rejecting God.

Has God been rejected in the past yes and he will be rejected in the future.

In the Last Move of God in my City of Aberdeen in 1860. A newspaper reported that men and woman avoided going past the Church buildings that the revival had broken out in to avoid coming under conviction.

The next Move of God that is going to come will be different in the sense that God is going to raise up the people to do the work of ministry.

So one group of people that are going to struggle are Pastor's who control there congregation. Some will try everything in the power to hold the people back. But some will surrender to God and get the help that they need.

As God raises up his people.
