Not my will

This was shared with me and it really spoke to my heart tonight. Thought I would share it with everyone here.

When our thoughts are directed
primarily toward what we want -
be it in regard to a job, a mate, finances,
or even a gift or move of God -
we leave ourselves open to deception.

Safety lies in having our thoughts
and our hearts focused instead on Jesus,
on what He wants, on what He's doing,
and what He's saying.

"Not my will, but Thine"
begins in our thoughts,
dreams, and ambitions.
