Download sermon to regular CD player not MP3

Hello,
I am told that I can download a sermon to play on a regular CD player, if I first download it as MP3 and then burn it to a CD. "first download MP3" - I understand this to mean download it to my computer. But, then how do I burn it to a CD to play on a regular CD player? Do I give it a different extension? Can you please advise me?

when you burn the CD you have the option at some point of burning the file as an "audio CD" or as an "MP3 CD" - usually one of the first choices that you have to make. Obviously you want to burn it as an audio CD. This will allow you to play it in any CD player. God bless
