My name is David. I've not done this before, and it unnerves me a little. I have found many of your discussions helpful, certainly thought-provoking. My participation will be prayerful. Today, however, I have a request - I read in a recent forum (in the last couple of days)an article by Spurgeon. Can anyone help me recover that? Thank you for the consideration.

Great to have you registered on the website. May the Lord bless you and enourage you as you seek more of Him. If you haven't yet do listen to these life-changing messages:

Thanks for the welcome, Greg, and the links. Yes, I have listened to these messages, some of them several times. "Ten Shekels..." has revolutionized my approach to the Gospel, and Ravenhill reminds me that the Christian life I hope for has been seen before, and how much the Father seeks to bring that to us.

Welcome, David! May the time that you spend on the forums be edifying and profitable to your own spiritual walk with God and may God use you to edify and encourage others on the forums.

Do you remember what the article by Spurgeon was about? That might be helpful in finding it.

Thanks for the encouragement, Joy. I'm afraid I'm not very savvy about communicating in this format, and I'm only now discovering how to navigate the forums. I have located the article (I went to "Articles and Sermons" - imagine that!) and found "The Withering Work of the Spirit" - just what I was looking for. Thanks for your consideration.

David
