Fireproof the new movie with kirk cameron

This movie was great and i cried a few times during it. My wife and friends came too and they loved it too. At the end of the movie everyone clapped and i heard a lot of amens and praise Jesus's during it. I'm telling you the truth, this is probably one of the best christian movies ever. I also would like to say is that a lot of people try to compare movies by the standard of hollywood and its entertainment. This movie does something better than hollywood it gives us a message that can change you and hope in this life through trials. The message is good unlike so many hollywood movies that people watch, the message is meaningful. I truly turned from watching hollywood movies a few years ago and am disgusted by the filth in them. Christian movies maybe our not always up to par on production and acting, but i love the messages and i actually like the acting. If you come in comparing to hollywoods special effects and intense scenes to make the movie look better you might not get it from this. But forget hollywood and watch this with an open heart. I hope you all love it , it is so good and i think many people could come to christ after seeing this movie.

he actually did not really kiss the woman in the movie but his real wife, and also he did not get paid for the movie, he only volunteered, astonishing.

I live in Canada so that means no Fireproof for us........

this movie should be out on dvd soon enough so any body can watch it, especially if they dont want to go out and fight the popcorn stand.
I saw it on opening night, and got there 45 minutes early, got the best seat in the house...
It was a packed house and I even cried more than my wife did, Mainly because the guy in the movie was me at one time and it was very convicting for me, remembering how I was before I got delivered, and God saved me.

This movie is a must see and definately a movie to show to men's groups and for couples groups.
oh and yes, ladies groups too.

Im sure someone can find fault in the movie, but off the top of my head I saw nothing that would offend. It had a great message, and God was glorified.

This is the greatest movie out. I don't watch TV's or movies, but my pastor insisted on this one. So I had to go to two different theaters to see it. It was sold out.

My fiance and I went to see this movie. I highly recommend it. It is definitely one of the best Christian movies I have ever seen, and perhaps, was the most realistic as far as dealing with real life situations that hit close to home. This movie shows how Christ indeed matters.

Go see it!!! First we do not support Christian Movie producers the way we should. Second this is a really good movie. Very high production standards, solid writing and acting is excellent.
Hurry!! This is a limited release, if the theaters do not fill the seats they will dump the movie, and replace it with the normal Hollywood trash.

It's also seduced by the same ~change~ demons that are Global which also the world speaks about also. ~Change~ is the World's god and the world in the church is following suit.

The flesh nature loves these two because it won't ever instruct it to die. Because these things are all about show and tell; like God said "vain deceit".

Rivquah, your discerning correctly it's not Agape (Calvary) Love it goes back to 3 Marxist's who wrote a book called "Human Relations in Cirriculm Change". I have to admit, I haven't seen it at all yet. However, I would have a difficult time believing that this is promoting "Kingdom" theology -- given Kirk Cameron's evangelistic involvement with Ray Comfort.

I watched the film "Facing the Giants" last year. I was impressed by its simple message. That film, like this one, was produced for "peanuts." This film (Fireproof) was created and distributed for less than $500,000. Most studios spend more than $500,000 on their movie posters alone. I seriously doubt that the film is intended to simply entertain or make money, but rather to get an evangelistic message out to a larger audience.

I am curious about how people felt after having viewed the film. My wife and I haven't watched the film yet, and might not watch it at all. It isn't even shown at any of the nearby theaters. However, I would like to know more about it in case it does come to the area (or if we decide to watch it on DVD). Thanks!

Like Ricky, I live in Canada and am looking forward to when this movie comes out on DVD. Based on the movie trailer, I have the impression that if nothing else, it will help people to gain a renewed appreciation for the fact that marriage is a gift that's been given to us by God. On our wedding day, my wife and I used a verse from Proverbs as a theme verse. This verse says, "A cord of three strands is not easily broken", to convey the idea that it takes, not only 2 people who are committed to one another, but also God, to truly make a marriage work.
