Weird email I received

I received this in my email a couple days ago.

I don't know what date you made your post but have you seen the recent stuff from Benny Hinn. He had Myles Munro on several times. It blew me away. Awesome.

However on the show (in Australia) they offered 5 books for about $A130. I have ordered them all. They have just said the interest is huge and they have made a CD of all 5 of the broadcasts. I am going to get some and distribute them.

I am a born again spirit filled christian for about 26 years now and I'm also a spiritual sensitive. The stuff blew me away. I had trouble coming to terms with the fact that I would never go to heaven but that IS what the bible teaches and the Jehovah's Witnesses have been teaching that for years although I disagree with some of their other stuff.

Anyway thought I'd let you know. You MUST get hold of a copy of the talks Benny Hinn had with Myles Munro.

As you said, it is a weird email.

For someone who is supposed to be saved 26 years, the level of immaturity is unbelievable.

The word of God tells us to exercise our senses to discern good and evil, Hebrews 5v14.

We should also be like the Bereans, Acts 17, who searched the Scriptures to sift the words that they heard.

Simply because someone is well know in Christians circles, does not mean that person is above the word of God.

So, she can buy all the books she wants, and believe them. But it is sad that the one Book that really matters gets overlooked.

Wow. This totally disturbs me I have heard of this teaching before and have ran from it for a long time. it seems like to me that these teachings seem to exalt man above God as sovereign. When I hear these types of things I always hear that old rebellious serpent hissing in the back of the ear of that very teacher promoting these things with a tight fist clenched saying "I will be like the most high I will exalt my throne above the stars". Everyone wants a kingdom, everyone wants heaven, but the question is do they want God to be there and to be the absolute ruler and supreme. So men will always come up with these teachings and men will always swallow them hook, line, and sinker( to stand with JW's on some issues is just a sad sad thing. We must stick to the scriptures and weight these types of things with the scriptures ( Sola Scriptura) The scriptures should be our standard. I wonder if anyone else can give a word on these type of teachings that have to do with Kingdom theology. One thing that I always look for is to see if Jesus is exalted because that is one of the functions of the Holy Spirit and I am sad to say that with most of these Kingdom teachings I only see man Exalted Sovereign about all. Thanks for the replies. I emailed her back asking her why she isn't going to heaven if she is a Christian. I also asked her where it says that in the Bible. And why she would listen to anything the JWs say.

I've never listened or read anything by Myles Munro. the post she is referring to is a couple years old. When a lady at my church said she was reading one of his books, I posted here asking if anyone was familiar with him. As for Hinn, the only name being exalted in his ministry is his own as far as I can tell.

Hey, this sounds like the Kingdom Theology stuff that I was recently 'introduced' to. Can't go into much detail as I did not have any desire to look into it, but threw the pamphlets out. The basis of it was those that are born again but do not do good works afterwards will be on the outerportion of the Heaven and those that continue on to good works will be closer to the throne. Or something like that...

Anyway, Was listening to a Michael Card song yesterday and the lyrics to his Way of Wisdom song was, "the way of understanding is not in the amount of what you know but in the way(path) of knowing Him." May be a few words off, but the premise is the same one that enid makes in that the reading of books and books and more books, be they religious, many neglecting the real book.
In fact, it is a neglect of Him. Many are looking everywhere else in churchianity and are missing Him, Christ the Risen One, the Messiah, the Son of God!

What is "[b]a spiritual sensitive[/b]" and how is it distinguished from being "a born again spirit filled christian"?

I tried looking up this phrase "a spiritual sensitive" and, to my utter amazement, I only found websites concerning psychics and mediums.

And this Myles Munro person seems to be just the kind of guy that Benny Hinn would endorse. :roll:

I used to play Myles Monroe day in and day out....sermon after sermon on the kingdom. Myles Monroe talks about how we (man) arent made for heaven but made for the earth ( to influence it and have dominion) . He says that even after Heaven is all said and done and Christians are there, God creates a new earth and puts us there...yeah it can be really confusing and misinterpreted...but Myles Monroe's point is that most Christians are looking forward to heaven when God made man for the earth..to rule and dominate it now..rather, to influence it with the Kingdom of god...All i know is that Im looking forward to Heaven to see the face of God and increase into all eternity in the knowledge of Him.

We who are in Christ are seated in heavenly places.
Many are making the church a thing of the earth.
The church is of heaven.

Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world. My servants will not fight for this world. The true church is in the world but not of the world.

The world will not be ours until Christ makes all things new. Everything that is not of Christ must be burned up then their will be a new heaven and a new earth only when Christ comes back with His church to rule and to reign.

The kingdom now theology is one of Satan's way of deception to get many to usher in the Antichrist. There will be many thinking they are ushering in the coming of the Lord when actually they will be accepting the Antichrist.

The scriptures are clear -Love not the world nor the things in the world, if any man love the world then the Love of the Father is not in him.

She replied to my email asking her what she meant about not going to heaven and the JWs, she didn't tell me where in the Bible it says we won't go to heaven...

Her reply was, "the bible says Jesus will reign on earth. and as for listening to the Jehovah's Witnesses they have some truth to their religion all religions do."
