Henry Blackaby is preaching right now.

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sermonindex.net-live-webcast-events

The Kingdom of heaven is standing right next to you - right now.

Is anything happening around your life? Where are the transformed lives around you?

We must pay attention. Isaiah 59:21. God wants to make a covenant with us.

If we return to Him, if we repent, His words will not depart from us - or our children - or our grandchildren.

Why is there no revival? Luke 12:54-56. We can sing about the King, and then walk away without any reference as to how to apply it to our life.

Don't comfort those under conviction of sin - you can pray for them. We must pray. When God's people return to Him - He will return to them.

You need to repent. Ask the Lord where you need to repent. If no lives are being transformed around you, you are out of fellowship with Him.

The preachers are not asking God's people to repent, there are calls to others, but not God's people.

These is no reference point to experience in revival. Once you have been around it, you can never be without it.

Don't ask God to bless America if we will not repent. 2 Chronicles 7:14. The healing of America waits upon the repentance of God's people. He sent 9/11 - He sent hurricane Ike - He sent the financial crises - what else must He do? How many more warnings do we need to have before God's people fall on their faces? God's people are not getting the message.

Significant intersession must happen before there is revival. When we pray God adjusts us to Himself. God's people are not humbling themselves...

One child of God, yielded to God, can be used by God for mighty works.

Change us O Lord, prepare our hearts - O Lord come but prepare our hearts ahead of time so that we will know that it is You.

Francois Carr is speaking.

2 Chronicles 5:1-13,6,7:1-3,17

The revival in Scotland - the presence of God was everywhere. The revival in the "congo" (?) - there was first a time of preparation, a personal preparation of learning to walk with God moment by moment.

Today, in South Africa and America, something needs to be in place that is missing. We need the moment by moment awareness of His presence before revival will come.

At the Western Wall there were people going through the motions to pray, but it did not appear to be for God.

Covenant is being aware of the One before whom you stand. Psalm 24. The direction of our heart before the One whom we are standing.

The foundation of revival needs to be in place. What do we need to do to prepare - "If the Father is pleased He will send it" - we need to live a life that will please the Father.

If you live the normal Christian life you don't need to repent for the everyday things of life.

God wants to give revival - because He is revival. We need to walk in His way. We need to love God - an intimate love relationship with God.

We need to walk in His word. We need a life of gratitude.

We need to process that which God sends forth. Solomon encounters God - God promises that if we walk with Him, He will bless us.

It's not about pursuing revival for change . . . it's about pursuing God.

Just before God sent revival, He sent Solomon to the next level - walking in His commandments before Him. We need an awareness of the presence of God.

The greatest need today is that we have lost the awareness of the presence of God.

Come back to God. With an awareness of the Kingdom of God next to you - what will happen in the everyday things in life.

First the awareness of His presence - then walking before Him. To have real conviction of sin because we see how He sees. It's not about revival - it's about walking before Him, and if He is pleased, He will send it.

Walking before Him moment by moment. What is the use of repenting if we just have to repent again because we are not aware of His presence.

Walk before His face. How are you walking today before the face of God. Are you aware of the fact that we have taken God to places without being aware of it? He goes with us.

We are going through the motions without having our hearts fixed upon Him. We need to repent for the ignorance of the presence of God.

Al Whittinghill is now preaching.

God wants revival. How could we imagine otherwise. He is waiting for us for us to prepare the alter of God. God says "if My people will - then I will."

God looks on the heart. We need a clean and pure heart. God starts with hearts - we start with other things. It is our own hearts that are the hinderence - not others.

Mark 5:21. God loves a true and trembling heart. The woman came differently than everyone else.

God yearns for us to respond with all our heart. Our problems are not in the white house - they are in God's house.

Men like how to's - men like menthods - but we don't want our hearts to be hurt - we don't want to be vulnerable. God gives us a new heart.

We can feel spiritual and never really be spiritual at all.

Conscience is to know together with - to know together with God. Every one has it, a knowledge of good and evil - like a courtroom in the soul. God uses it to tell us what we need to be. It's deep, it's powerful and it's overriding all.

In today's church we've taken away the real conviction of God. This is why we are having all of the problems of today. Our problem is the problem of the heart.

Romans 10:17. How do you lay hold of faith? 1 Timothy 3:9 "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience." The way you hold it is with a pure heart and a good conscience. It's honesty. 1 Timothy 1. Holding on to the good conscience.

Our conscience becomes seared - our life flow begins ebbing away - we must confess. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Without a good conscience we can not walk with Jesus.

The organ of faith, or conscience - In Acts 24 Paul cried out to maintain a conscience void of offense.

1 John. If our heart condemns us not - willing to live honestly in all things. It is all through the scriptures.

Satan wants to mess this up. He looks for an exposed area. God will protect us if we abide in Him. Satan wants to divide our heart. Ephesians - give no foothold - the devil wants to short circuit.

A wrong attitude will rise if our heart is not set toward the Lord. Search me O God. Ransack my heart, look in all the drawers - teach Thou me.

The Lord wants to take us a different way . . . to take us down the corridor of our own soul.

The church needs to deal with the heart. If there is no confidence in Him - we can't really pray.

If you sit in the dark you get used to it. Light comes and we retreat to the darkness.

What will defile our conscience?
1) Tolerating or harboring what God Himself has shown me what is wrong. Compromise. There is no such thing as secret sin - all of heaven is watching.

An uneasiness with God. Am I willing to deal with the real issues. Proverbs 28:13. We cover things instead of dealing with them. If the Holy Spirit points it out, it is not a little thing. No sin can lodge in a Christian's heart without their permission. Unjudged sin makes fellowship with the risen Lord Jesus impossible. Would I rather feel right or be right. Everybody wants to be happy - but the question is do you want to be holy . . .

2) Unforgiveness. Matthew 18. God will forgive us as we forgive others. We must forgive from the heart. The bottom of a unforgiving heart is pride.

3) Sins of omission. James 4:17. It's not a matter of legalism, it's a matter of obedience. Obedience is never passive, it is always active.

4) Idolatry. A double mindedness. And idol is anything you would not, or could not, give up right now if Jesus says to give it up.

5) Un-Christ-like relationships. It's not the action - it's the attitude - trying to get the approval of men.

6) Impure of selfish motives. It's all about us so much of the time. Stop using God as a stepping stone. Stop making satisfaction our goal.

2 Corinthians 6:16. We accuse Him of holding out on us, when the truth is that we love that sin. He is faithful - He will cleanse us. We are the hold up to revival.

Humbling ourself is not a feeling, it is a choice. Let the goodness of God lead His people to repentance. Hidden springs of the Bible.

The alter is the foot of the cross. Repentance is the key to healing of the church, and then to the nation.

Don Currin is now preaching.

Romans 11:33. Oh the depth of the riches . . .

The slowness of God's ways. Churches are buying into marketing strategies. We are not recognizing the ways of the Lord. Lack of understanding of God's slowness is part of the problem. We are weary of waiting.

God's Word never alters. We are taught that if things are not happening, we need to make them happen - this is wrong.

Why has God taken so long to respond? Why is God taking so long in sending revival?

1) To enlarge our understanding of His character. He is sovereign, we are not. He is in control. We can not twist His arm. We need to be content with that -

2) To test our faith in His word. To try our obedience to His written word. Saul did not wait. Waiting is very difficult for prideful people. Our fears for ourselves make us step out too soon.

3) To bring glory to Himself. John 11. Lord if you had been here . . . why was Christ so slow? How will God get more glory - healing the sick or raising the dead? HE should be our contentment. Luke 2:25.

Revival is not a result of our merit, but God's mercy. Revival always begins in the heart of God.
Jonathan Edwards was not even looking for revival and the Lord sent it. There are several examples of God sending revival when it was least expected - this was the result of people being focused on God rather than revival.

Abraham with Haggar is an example of what happens when we don't wait.

What should we do while we wait?

1) Learn to define spiritual success from a spiritual point of view. Walk in faithfulness before Him. If you are in Christ you are going to bear fruit. Revival is not your chief passion in life - it is Christ. Real success is doing the will of God regardless of the consequences - even if God is not sending revival.

2) Rest completely in the Lord's timing.

3) Learn to find your contentment in Christ alone. Philippians 4:11.

Some are making spiritual awakening a god.

Isn't Jesus enough? HE is the end.

That testimony from Bob is inspring! It blessed me!

BTW, HeartSong, good job on those notes - I do not think I will have to take notes- just come back and read yours, that way I can concentrate better on what is said! On the other hand, I just might change my mind - after all, I am a woman and can easily do that! lol

H

. . . that way I can concentrate better on what is said!

I was just thinking about this before I logged on. It is difficult for me to just sit and listen (in school I had to draw pictures so that I hear what was being said). I am usually out walking when I listen to sermons, but I can't do that with the Conference so I had planned on doing other things as I listened - I think God has me doing this so that I stay on task . . .
