how do i fit Paul's sermon on 1 cd

does anybody know how to fit a 2 hour sermon on one disc?
since the cd will only hold 80 minutes.
Im not that computer savy so maby someone knows some tricks or other things that will need to be done..

It's impossible to fit 2h sermon into one audio CD. The only solution is to make it just as it is, mp3 file, but depends on the player could it be played or not. If the player supports mp3, than it could, otherwise no. Most of today's DVD players support mp3's.

Since I don't have any CD players that play MP3 files, I had to convert the file to a .wav and then slice it in two with some audio editing software.

I agree with the posters. You can't compress audio in a way that would make a 2 hour sermon fit on a standard audio CD that you would play in your car (unless your car's CD player can play other formats, like .wav, .mp3, etc...). Of course, you could record the sermon in MONO, and then record one half on LEFT and the other half on RIGHT (and listen to it first with the left speakers and the second part with the right speakers). However, the audio format of CDs prohibit regular inflated audio files from being compressed. If you were to lower the sound quality, you would ultimately just have a fuzzier CD that still needed two disks to play in a standard format.

If I were you, I would check the manual for the device that I normally play sermons on. If it plays a different format (like .mp3 or .wav), you might just simply need to record the entire files as a DATA DISK -- which would work on such players. Unfortunately, most car stereos that are not equipped with provisions to play DVDs or mp3 formats simply don't allow this. In the end, you will still likely have to record it using this powerful sermon using 2 CDs.
