From Kansas City International to London I'm looking at about 12 hours or so flight time with my specific connecting flights.
from dallas texas is about 9 hours only, not bad, Lord willing, i'll be there too
My dad, sister, brother and I will be flying into Glasglow on Nov. 19th around 1:30pm. But I think that Greg has made arrangements with someone in Greenock to pick us up.
Do you have any suggestions for us, brother, about some places to visit in Scotland before the conference? Perhaps there are others coming who might benefit from some suggestions of things to see in the area.

Hi Greg and others. I will try and answer some of the questions. Yes I will be in contact with Chris and Fraser the day after I arrive. I have a meeting in the works with a local Church of Scotland Minister and hopefully will get a contact for Glasgow. Also had word from a Church up north, the Pastor is excited about the conference and is informing his congregation and also all of his contacts. I plan to visit as many of the local ministers as I can.
As for travel in Scotland. To give some context. You can fit Scotland, geographicaly, into Kansas three times. So, for instance, if you were getting there a few days early, you could easily go and see Loch Lomand. Or you could go to Loch Ness(you might even see the monster:) Closer to home is Largs, a former Viking area. There is a Viking visitor center. Perhaps the weather may be an issue, something to think about. You could certainly drive or go by train to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Edinburgh is no more than an hour away with Glasgow only about 40 minutes away. Also, you could go to Stirling, Stirling has its own Castle and indeed, this was William Wallace's castle. Most people are quite awed by Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile...........brother Frank

Amen Frank. Your homeland has such a mighty spiritual heritage from centuries of precious outpourings of the Holy Spirit that overflowed the borders to the whole world. May America and the world be changed by Scotland once yet again.

HI Compton..............yes, may the Lord once again move in this Land and may our biggest exports not be Whiskey, but the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I was preaching at the church that is sponsoring this event back in 1997. Suddenly I heard myself saying that one day when people mentioned the name of Greenock, they would associate it with Jesus rather than drunkeness or drugs or violence. It seemed so implausible when I thought about what I had said. Yet, are we on the verge of this? Lord may it be so, and not only Greenock, but the whole of Scotland. May the report go out from there amongst all the nations that the Spirit of the Lord has fallen on His people there in Scotland. That the good news of the Gospel is once again preached with power and that the unchurched are being swept into the Kingdom.
