The Wonderful Holy Spirit of the Living God

I have been reading Acts 6 about Stephen, verse 8 in the Amplified says "Now Stephen, full of grace (divine blessing and favour) and power (strength and ability) worked great wonders and signs (miracles) among the people.
Verse 10 But they were not able to resist the intelligence and the wisdom (and the inspirition of) the Spirit with which and by whom he spoke.
Verse 15b ....saw that his face had the appearance of the face of an angel.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the (Holy) Spirit and with strength and ability and power....
Acts 11:24 talking about Barnabas ... full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit and full of faith....
Acts 16:6 And Paul & Silas passed through the territory of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Word in (the province of) Asia.
As I read these accounts I know how important it is that we are full of the Holy Spirit. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, how much more do we. I know that for me to do anything that will have fruit lasting into eternity I need to be doing things in the Holy Spirit, my life needs to be lived every day being submitted & obedient to the Holy Spirit. He is so wonderful, I don't know where I would be without Him. We only need to ask & belive & we will be baptised with the Holy Spirit.

Art Katz notes in his little book, [i]The Temptations of Christ: A Call to Sonship and Maturity[/i], That it was [i]after[/i] "the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them" (Acts 4:32).

Art says:

These believers came to a place where they were not possessed by their possessions. There was remarkable freedom. They had passed one of the great tests of the wilderness testing, and it is no accident that we read in verse 33: "And with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all (page 26).
