This looks as thought a whole sermon by Evan Roberts exists! Just click on this Spurgeon cry for revival praying. (My computer is acting odd. Link works but words past different):

Oh! men and brethren, what would this heart feel if I could but believe that there were some among you who would go home and pray for a revival - men whose faith is large enough, and their love fiery enough to lead them from this moment to exercise unceasing intercessions that God would appear among us and do wondrous things here, as in the times of former generations.

The sermon title is: To Save A Poor Sinner. I have downloaded it but lack the right player needed to play it. Trusting Sermonindex can post it here to fit the player that works on this site.

Summary: Through the use of contemporary letters, interviews and photographs, this DVD examines the beginning and outbreak of the 1904 Welsh Revival through the eyes and thoughts of the Revivalist himself, the 26 year old Evan Roberts
Edition: Special centenary edition.
Imprint: Ammanford : 1904 Ltd, 2003.
Description1: videodisc (ca. 62 mins.) : digital, sd., b+w., 4 3/4 in

Selwyn Hughes is listed on Sermonindex, but listings all seem to be texts. I hope our Greenock men will not leave Scotland without a copy of one or both of these (if it turns out they must be purchased at the “near-by Library of Wales”).

Can someone check this out and post if this is real. I only found a snip-it of his voice on SI.

its true - more information can be found here

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/mid/3936387.stm

if you google the title of the sermon and his name you will find more results, perhaps the sermon!?

Notice the name of the one that donated the sermon, perhaps a relative to one of the Davies ladies that accompanied him as written in the article at
http://www.welshrevival.org/histories/awstin4/02.htm

go to
https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=231 for an eyewitness testimony of the Welsh revival.

it would actually seem that the recording that Sermon Index has of Evan Roberts is about half of the recording that was found. Go to

http://digidol.llgc.org.uk/METS/XDY00001/ardd?locale=en

for the rest, albeit still partial, with words. Need Real Player to watch/listen
