Thanksgiving, the day our nation reflects on the things we should be thankful for, is a few days away. As I have been considering the many blessings God has given me, I have realized my initial thoughts are geared toward the physical. I know as I mature in my faith (and age) I will realize even more the temporary nature of the physical all the more.
The one thing I am most thankful for is my salvation. I praise God that He has opened my eyes and heart to realize that salvation is not about escaping eternal damnation, rather it is about Him! I get to bow at the throne of God and serve Him all the days of my life, not only now but for eternity!
I pray that you all would realize the blessings God has given you and you would spend some time praising Him with thanksgiving in your heart.
