Royal Hymns

Here are some hymns/poems I wrote down this morning while at work. They are just some things I found myself singing. I hope they bless you.... I don't claim to really know anything about poetic structures or what not, I guess it's just kinda free verse.----Mighty God, The Great I AM;Take us into, The promised land;Where we'll serve you with all our might;Every day, And every night. ---From the valley I will sing;What my God has done for me;Though I walk through a maze;Your hand will guide me all the way.Though it be dark at night, Lord God, you are my light.Though the deep blue sea cover my head, God will raise me from the dead.---Woe to the nationsWoe to the earthWoe to the land and the seaWoe to those who sleep in sins bed-"Woe" will you say "unto me." ---Son of the FatherSon of Man.Creator of everything-Yet from a woman's womb you began.

Mighty God,The Great I AM;Take us into,The promised land;Where we'll serve youwith all our might;Every day,And every night.Well Royal Hymns? by King Jimmy sounds abit well hehe (inside joke). These are great. I would encourage you to keep at it and continue to write down stuff as you do work, John Wesley used to write thoughts on little pieces of paper and pin them to his jacket when he rode the horse from destination to destination.Woe to the nationsWoe to the earthWoe to the land and the seaWoe to those who sleep in sins bed-"Woe" will you say "unto me."I really like this one sounds abit Ravenhillish with touch of Ezekiel. I am not sure if these are exclusive or possibly just one stanza of a more fuller hymn keep at it and let us know if you come up with more.

I don't know what it is, but I seem to just be writing these further down without having to try. I wrote 2 more down today, oddly enough, at work again.---Sing unto the Lord a new song.It is a song that never ends.When the world stops playing its strings,I am the one who still sings.Though my voice cracks and breaks,Still I am the one you take.---They say I'm crazy,But I'm alright;Thinking of you,Day and night;Ordering my thoughts,My every word;To bring glory,to my Lord;

I wrote this down today. I came into work yesterday early early in the morning so that I might be to Church on time. The night manager had put on a local hard-rock radio station that I used to listen to. One of the songs on used to be one of my favorite songs as a Christian who was full of compromise. The song on the radio caused me to wonder how it is I could listen to such stuff that was full of nothing but death. I penned the following:---The world's song is not my song,We sing a different tune,God's done a work in my heart,That He wants to do to you. ---
