As far as books are concerned, all of these books are excellent:
1. THE REVISION REVISED, by Dean John Burgon
Burgon does the following four things: (1) He attacks the false Alexandrian Greek text of Westcott and Hort; (2) He demolishes the theory behind the text; (3) He refutes the English Revised Version of 1881 and (4) He defends the King James Bible!.
2. THE TRADITIONAL TEXT OF THE HOLY GOSPELS
A careful survey of the historical supremacy of the New Testament Greek Text that has been preserved from the first century until the present. Dean Burgon shows the superiority of this text and the inferiority of B and Aleph and others.
3.THE CAUSES OF CORRUPTION OF THE TRADITIONAL TEXT
Dean Burgon gives detailed illustrations of five accidental causes and ten intentional causes of the corruption of the original traditional text.
4. INSPIRATION AND INTERPRETATION
Burgon gives a splendid refutation of Essays and Reviews followed by seven sermons on Biblical inspiration and interpretation. Dean Burgon stood for the verbal inspiration of the Bible's books, chapters, verses, words, syllables and even letters.

I believe that scripture is not only inerrant but also entirely sufficient.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any books by trusted teachers that discuss the authenticity of scripture. Things pertaining to methods of translation, collections of passages, accuracy, etc.
I went to a seminar by John Piper a few years back and he spent the weekend discussing the things I am talking about, but it was so long ago and have nothing to refer back to. I know the word of God can stand on its own feet without me defending it, but it would be nice to know more about the history of the Bible (not only for apologetics, but to satisfy my own curiosity)!
I figured I would ask you Saints for credible stuff rather than doing a google search and finding something that is utterly wrong.
