My mother-in-law and I minister at an assisted living facility on Sunday mornings to a small group of women. While closing in prayer, the spirit of God seemed so close and so tender towards us. We are such a small pathetic group of women, but the spirit is moving so strong at our gatherings. The spirit moved upon me and I spoke this to the women, but I believe it's a word for the Church at large.
We've been deployed for battle! We are
going forward to battle! We will long
for the comforts of home, but our eyes
will be set on the battle ahead. Just
as a soldier enters foreign soil and
longs for the comforts of home. We will
also long for our old comforts, but we
will leave all behind for the battle
ahead!
