The apostle paul said that in the end "All men forsook him". The word the Lord gave me last night is that we need to be prepared for the time when all men will forsake us and to be careful not to be holding onto any security blankets like money, relationships ect... If it is meant to be the Lord will work it out. Everything to God in prayer. Praying for you.
Very sorry to hear your news KingJimmy. You are right, satan will use it to destroy where God will use it to build. Still, no matter of either, it will be a difficult time. I will help pray that God gains the upper hand.

Many might have a hard time distinguishing between bitterness and brokenness. Indeed, both bring about a deep grief of heart. Both bring about a lasting change of character. But, what is the thing that a broken spirit posses? Though equally as hurt, those who are broken experience sweetness, tenderness, charity, love, and chiefly: a quiet sort of joy that shines even through grief.

Just before discovering your post, I was engaged in a phone call with a family friend who is also experiencing loss. He is about to lose his farm– his entire livelihood – really, his sense of identity which has been deeply established through three generations of farming. He, like you, is not glossing over his pain or his sense of loss. He acknowledges that he struggles with “negative” emotions. In fact, bringing his inner struggle into the light seems to prevent Satan from getting a foothold. (Satan works in the dark) He is clinging to his unflinching reliance on God.
Without a doubt, you share a similar faith journey. Your stories aren’t finished. You both refuse to close the book – which is what bitterness can easily do. Through brokenness you are opening the pages of your lives to God– and letting him write new chapters – in the way he chooses.
Without a doubt God is working his way through the soft soil of your heart, and using your loss to forge a deeper reliance on him and a deeper understanding of yourself and God. What sprouts from this underground work will be the result of God intertwining with your heart and mind.
May he be your all in all.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I trust in the Lord that life will come out of this death. Whatever that will look like, God only knows. I just pray that He is glorified in whatever happens. For ultimately it is all about Him anyway.
