Hello - I am new to sermon index. I have been listening to Brother Paul Washer for a while now and decided to register here.

I have a prayer request:

Please pray for my dear wife Jessica. We are pregnant with our first child and we are walking on faith. We have endured 6 barren years and one miscarriage. She is two months along (1/9/09) and there is still no fetal heartbeat. We pray that God will glorify Himself by confounding the contemporary wisdom of the doctors and the ultrasound results. She is not suffering from any pain or bleeding, but is already being advised to have a procedure to "clean out" the uterus. We elected to wait two weeks for prayer & fasting, and then go back for another ultrasound. Thanks in advance.

Welcome OkayRed!

I will be praying for you, your wife, & your baby

It is great that you are taking this situation before the Lord instead reacting to what the doctor says.

When my wife was pregnant with our first daughter, they told us there was a problem. It started out that my wife was experiencing pain in her side. The doctor ordered an ultrasound to be done on my wife. The day before the ultrasound, the pain went was gone. But we went to the ultrasound anyway. They told us that our baby had large holes in her kidneys and that when she was born, she would have major medical problems.

So we took it to the Lord in prayer along with our church. A month later, we had another ultrasound with an expert. As the expert did the ultrasound, he asked us why we were there. He said, “There was nothing wrong with your child.”

I believe God caused my wife to have that harmless pain so that we would have the ultrasound so that we would know the needs of our daughter. Then we would pray, He would heal her, and we would glorify & praise Him.

A testimony of how God can heal in the womb.
