How do others think of you?

Don't know about you, but can't say many fear me and enjoy listening to me. Do others think of me holy when they see me? Now I am sure the brethren may say those things about me and you; but maybe they are just kind? What does the world see in you and me? When people encounter us, is there a fear that they may watch what they say...respect you...change there demeanor? Do they enjoy listening to you speak of the Lord, of your family and the church? I recall listening to the sermon by Keith Daniel, My Godly Father. I recall how many of his co workers feared him and respected him. There was a holiness that exhumed from him. I was struck in the heart reading this passage this morning. I can't say that I am always the best example to others, of course we are our worst critic...but I long for an intimacy with the Lord that will hopefully one day...I may live this verse.

Just wanted to share was blessed with this verse.

Hi Im new here, wouldnt say that I know much about anything either.

Anyway, Im of the mind that when it all comes down to it, it doesnt matter really what others think of us, but what our Father sees in us. Also, aren't you just the way God wants you to be at this particular time and for His purpose?

You were right, we might well say nice things about you! :-)

As for one day living that verse for the Lord, perhaps you will be asked to, or perhaps you're already fulfilling another verse for Him more importantly.

If my behavior is un becoming of Christ...then what will others think of Christ because of you/me? You can represent Christ as his ambassador, and still have other people thing wrongly of you. But God knows your heart and sees it. '

Basically, if someone interviewed others about you...what would this say?
