I know this will raise some eye brows but seriously the Lord warns us about sects and isms in the bible.
The scripture also says that some are ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. It seems to me that some can never read the scriptures without looking at it through the view of their Calvinistic theology.
I have notice how this is such a touchy topic and to some it is like their God is a Calvinist. I would love to warn anyone to stay away from any books that push strong Calvinism. I say this because it seems to suck a person into its logical web and not release them from its prison. I recommend to anyone who is deep into Calvinism to put away from you all the books and just read your bible for a month with much prayer.
Brethren their will be no Calvinists books at the judgments but only the word of God. I pray for you who are caught up into any “ism” because your view of God has been diluted from the pure word of God.
This is serious and we must examine ourselves to see if we be in the faith and will give an account for promoting anything to other people other than the pure word of God.
Be careful who you are listening to, because you will become what you allow in your spirit. The devil loves to use truth to ensnare us into error. The word of God will never lead you wrong but men’s understanding will. Some don’t know the difference because they have placed men’s understanding above what is written by the inspired Apostles.
1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
