God controls satan

Dear ones,

Lately too many people are giving satan credit for their problems. It is my strong opinion that nothing takes place in the lives of Saints that is not sent/allowed/controlled by God. If He chooses to bruise us through satan, let us give God the glory, it is all for our benefit, no matter how painful.

If we only learn this one lesson, everything else is a piece of cake. It is that simple. This is my humble opinion,

I think I know what you are saying? There are times when we blame Satan for the sin that we are selves are guilty of instead of taking responsibility for our actions. Sometimes it is easier on the conscious to see one self as a victim instead of needing to go before the Lord and repenting of our sin and self behavior. I know that there have been times in my own walk that this is very true and applies. In one of Paul Washers teachings he talks about how Father sends us discipline and struggle to keep us on the narrow path, because of His love for us.

"And because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me--to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I entreated the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2Cor12:7-10

That is not something that is against you, but for you. This hard and difficult and trying circumstance is not something outside My providence, My economy, which you must overcome with My help: it is of My purpose, it is My plan. I am high enthroned above all the powers of darkness, and to the trusting soul Satan himself is compelled to be a means of My grace. All your suffering is in My economy. I have poised in My own hand the weight of your burden and know it. Everything that is imposed upon you is under My control. “My grace is sufficient for thee.” It is enough for you to know that what you are suffering is part of my discipline, evidence of My love.

God is supreme. Otherwise He is not God. How we perceive things changes nothing. Neither does our interpretation. God is subject to no-one.

The enemy does get too much 'credit'. But there are a great many things that we are not privy to in the spiritual realm. We are taught to resist the devil who will flee. So let us be vigilant, holding firm to what is true and right and shunning anything that is not.

We are not living in a world where God and the devil are some sort of equals battling it out. We already know the ending....

What are we to do, having done all? Stand.
