The Parable of the Talents

This morning I woke up from a dream and felt that I knew what the Talent was in the parable - Faith. I had been having such a strong dream about my Faith. I knew I must feed it and exercise it. In my dream it was another part of me, not originally part of me but merged into me.

This may have come from my nightly prayer in which I always thank God for giving me my Faith. I regard it as a most treasured gift, without which I could not commune with Him, or even praise His name.

Does anyone else see that parable this way?

The talents are gifts of our Father. Each one being given as He sees fit. We in turn are expected to take these gifts and to use them to bring others unto Himself that He might come into the fullness that is spoken of in the Scriptures. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.

My question was, "Does anyone else see that parable this way?"

From what you posted I can only assume your answer is, No. If I am wrong, please correct me.
