I recently had the opportunity to share my testimony at First Baptist Church of Briar, TX. Our family is in the midst of changing churches and it appears that we're going to have the privilege of attending this one. The pastor is Randall Easter, a friend of Paul Washer's, and the church seems to function as a Biblical church. We're excited about this church and what the Lord is doing there.
I believe I have failed miserably in past attempts to share my testimony. Usually, it's a lot about me with little emphasis on what Christ has done. This is all to my shame. But by God's grace, I think this one came out to the glory of Christ, and so I want to share it here.
Know this: Jon Speed is Jon Speed's worst enemy. I am nothing more than redeemed dirt. May the Lord use this to awaken false converts to their situation, exalt the true Gospel, and remind you of the beauty of your own salvation.
