I do believe this was at one time called a Jesus fish, have you ever seen one of these, they did not get us too far in spreading the gospel did they? Nor will the Obama prayer candles.
The woes upon religion in the world today have been brought on by man worshiping man and putting their trust in the arm of the flesh.
It appears very little has been learned and we can only look to more of the same, only coming from a different school of thought this time. In the end all who put their trust in the arm of the flesh shall see the same results.
Jeremiah 17:5-8
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. [6] For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. [7] Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. [8] For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The only one we are to be looking to and trusting in is the one who gave himself upon the cross, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eccles. 12:13-14
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
We can only trust in the accomplished works of our Lord Jesus Christ.
