God doesn't unite same-sex couples into a marriage covenant. So divorce doesn't exist in sodomite "marriages."
If by divorce you mean by the law of the state, then yeah, they should divorce and get rid of that contract.
Well said, 'nuff said. :-)
Should Married Sodomite (Gay, Lesbian) Couples Divorce After Being Saved?
Should liars stop lying when saved?
Should thieves stop stealing and rather put their hands to honest labor so that they may give to others when saved?
Should the sexually immoral purify themselves in the sight of God and know how to possess their vessels in holiness and honor?
Homosexuality in a sin and Christ died to save us from all sin.
What is the significance of this? Paul explains this in the letter to the Romans.
[b]Romans 1[b]18.[b]19.[b]20.[b]21.[b]22.[b]23.[b]24.[b]25.[b]26.[u]For this reason[b]God gave them over to degrading passions[u]women exchanged the natural function[b]27.[u]in the same way[b]the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, [u]men with men[b]28.[b]29.
Homosexuality (as with heterosexual and all manner of immorality) is a direct perversion of the truth and glory of God and is therefore contrary and opposed to that divine wisdom by which God created man in His image and likeness as both male and female. This mystery of the human nature in sexuality and covenantal union (ie. marriage, "flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone" -- which are mystical unions) is even further expressed as a parable of Christ's marriage to His church, being joined one spirit with the Holy Ghost; which, to say the least, is no slight thing.
As you can see a little study in the area of sexuality, not in the details but rather in the metaphysical aspects, conveys an immediate recognition as to why sexual immorality and indecency are both so powerfully pervasive in the flesh and why it is such a persistent matter of contention for holiness unto the Lord.
