question about love

R
rreighe Mar 7, 2009

ok it is more like questions...

what if i prayed to God that he would give me someone that i could and she could love eachother unconditionally and the next day we meat?
ok yes i think that happened.
but what if i find out rumours about her and from trusted freinds that she is not... lets say a Godly persion? her persionality is amazing and fits perfect with mine but her morals are almost as good as dirt. but just the way she is is amazing if i ignore all the dirt morals.

ok now here is were it gets complex; she did something realy bad and the whole school found out and now she moved away and is now at a differnt school, where i wont get the chance to see her. but i feel so strongly for her (with pure motives from the start) that i already miss her and she has been gone for only a few days. i belive with all of my heart that if she was God's than she would be having great morals and she would be the one for me. i miss her so much and i had the chance to help her but stuff happened and i let my emotions take control and now she did this (which i cannot tell you it is to lustfully graphic) and now she got embarrased and expelled and she is gone. i pray and pray and pray that God will save her. bring her to HIM and i just look at a picture i have of her and just cry. i dont know how long it will be till i see her again. i want to help her so bad but i dont know if it is God's will that me and her be together either now or ever in a relationship that involves something so much more than just dating. i belive that if she was God's than we would be happy together.

any help would be amazing... please pray for her. she needs it bad and doesn't even know it... i'm praying that God will save her and bombard her with signs pointing towards Him and a whole bunch of stuff. and i am trying if it is possible that maybe at the moment i try it that if she is wanting something bad in her to go away that the evil spirt leave. i dont know it is worth a shot... i am doing more begging God to save her than anything else.

In Christ- whom i pray she finds;

i sent you a pm.

"happy together" i was using it as the term meaning a couple. i worded it wrong.... i meant "if she was God's than we could be together," but she is not God's and is trying to fill that gap with other stuff and so SHE is not happy, therfore WE becomes invalid. sorry for being unclear.

Perhaps, you are rushing things a bit? You are too young to be looking for a wife, don't you think?

When our two youngest were in their teens they thought it was terrible when their older brother was in his twenties and not married. They declared that they were going to be married by the time they were 20. Twenty came and they were still single....I reminded them of this and they said "we were just immature back then!" Agreed.

Take your time and do not rush things...concentrate instead on learning life skills, walking with the LORD. You pray for a wife and ask God to keep her pure and holy for you and when the time comes, He will bring her to you and you will not have to settle for one who will destroy you. In the meantime, you also pursue a life of purity. Too many fellows (and gals) have suffered untold grief when they rushed things. (My preacher-grandfather used to say: "Some girls are so eager to get married they will take anything in pants. Well, they get married and then before too long they wish that all they had were the pants!")

Take it slow and God bless..

well.... i have been through all of the child love stuff stage before. well.. i am not 'looking' for a wife, i just am keeping an open mind for a girl who would be awsome.

i dont look at her 'romanticly' per se. and i already made up my mind that i will not let her be mine unless she is saved and is truely God's. besides i would not rush things at all. i would at least wait a very long time like a few years at least of being with someone before i would even think of proposing and getting engaged. well.. think meaning taking it siriusly... i will not say it will cross my mind because it may either negitivly or positivly.

but i will admit to caring ALOT about her. and i am sure that i care about her alot as a freind because i also know what it is like to mistake 'love' from something else, many times. how am i sure that this is love? not so much romantic love as freindship love.. but either way, it is because for one i have pure thoughts with her... they aren't lusting like i used to. only time will tell if it is permenent and stuff because that is too soon to tell with that.

i kinda know... oh and i'm not worried about getting married. :P

Firstly these are some of my thoughts in this regard. Do place it before the Lord and then ask His clarity.

Pursue Jesus with all your heart.
He will ensure that HIS will regarding these things will come to pass. But do not be distracted by these things.
It may seem all genuine and real. But as godly elders have adviced, the heart is so deceitful and can trap us if we are not careful. Especially with regard to the opposite sex.
This is an area which has caused the falling away of many earnest young people. I know living examples of this, and they sincerly thought they were helping and were unable to discern and unable to heed the caution of elders. However we have no need to give up hope, because we know how God is able to reach out and save to the uttermost.

help me Lord Jesus to surrender everything to You. let this be our constant prayer and He will do as He knows is best.
In all sincerity, place this girls situation before the Lord and let it go. O let it go! He will take care.
How easily we can pursue in prayer of the things which we are attracted to and yet do not faithfully pursue in prayer for so many other things which God has showed us.

I would recomend reading this online book
Sex, Love and Marriage by Zac Poonen

As we pursue the Lord without room for anything else, we can be assured that His will for us regarding all things will come to pass.

So I say to you as to myself, Lord cleanse me from all double mindedness and let me live for You. Teach me to walk the path of a bond-slave. Teach me to live no longer for myself and my wants, but for You and Your will.
Amen.
