Destruction

Standing on the threshold of destruction, my heart is overwhelmed by the immense contrast of His indescribable tenderness and the horror of that which is to fall upon mankind.

As I turn to Him for comfort, He wraps me in the circle of His love and assures me that all is well. In humble adoration I allow His gentle reassurance to wash over me, wiping away the concerns of this fleeting and temporal world. Safe in His embrace, I bask in the warmth of His love, shielded from all of the worries and concerns that surround me. He is all that I need.
