Urgent prayer this hour

Within one hour a group is meeting at my church to discuss our body changing from its current form of government (quasi-congregational) to an Elder headed form. I was just asked to be in prayer. Please join me that His Holy Spirit lead in this meeting. Their heart is to accomplish this change in six weeks before a new paster comes. This change was begun after an anounted message on NT church organization. The congregation listened in silence and applauded the message! We have women in leadership and it IS a problem coming from there. God has greatly increased those that pray this last 8 months.

This seems impossible. Every member in that meeting must hear from God. Please join me in prayer. I know He has gone ahead.

Praise God! He hears our heart-cry. God demonstrated His presence, will, and Loving way.

A step to proceed was found for this Sunday (yikes) AND the 4 men in the meeting led the women, [u]right then and there[/u], in God-glorifying ways! What a hope we have in Him. His presence. His further leading. Many traps and distractions were just simply avoided.

Someone had told me that this sort of thing splits churches. Here there is great peace and joy over one step taken in faith.
