1.\tBlest be the dear uniting love
\tthat will not let us part;
\tour bodies may far off remove,
\twe still are one in heart.
2.\tJoined in one spirit to our Head,
\twhere He appoints we go,
\tand still in Jesus' footsteps tread,
\tand do His work below.
3.\tO may we ever walk in Him,
\tand nothing know beside,
\tnothing desire, nothing esteem,
\tbut Jesus crucified!
4.\tWe all are one who Him receive,
\tand each with each agree,
\tin Him the One, the Truth, we live;
\tblest point of unity!
5.\tPartakers of the Saviour's grace,
\tthe same in mind and heart,
\tnor joy, nor grief, nor time, nor place,
\tnor life, nor death can part.
