He Giveth More Grace...

sermonindex Apr 19, 2009

"He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again."

(Annie J. Flint)

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
(Hebrews 4:15-16)

Grace secures our place in our relationship
and walk with GOD. GOD knows it to be a
necessity; so HE provides it daily and freely.
You are a testament to the saving grace of
GOD and the truth of HIS salvation. May you
grow with respect to grace unto the measure
of its fullness, which is in Christ!!

Hquest, I saw when you posted this yesterday just when I needed to hear these words to this song most - more than almost ever. I emailed it out to friends, knowing they were praying for me for "grace" --- Amazing!!

Thank you!

Amen!

Isn't it truly wonderful how God uses His body to minister to each other in our need. This song has been a blessing to me, also.
God bless!

Thanks, Sojourner and Appolus!

"7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (King James Version)
