Does anyone have any knowledge on where the Ark of the Covenant is?

I have heard some stuff but not thoroughly.

I have some thoughts about it which I have not completely studied or conversed about.

I think the question might come up, "why does it matter?". To me well I am interested, but in addition to that though I do not think it is of central importance or that it is needed or used as it once was under anointing, but I think that it may still be used in the rebuilt Temple to come. Plus it is just kinda cool kinda of like some of the things we have uncovered with archaeology.

So here are some of my thoughts. I think that the ark is no longer under anointing as it once was. I also think that it will not be anointed again. I think the anointed ark is the one in heaven. I think the time has passed for the earthly ark as it's only purpose was for temporal work with Israel and to serve as a shadow. I am not saying Israel is replaced only that that certain way in which God related to Israel has passed. God is now dealing with them in spirit until the restoration of all things. It was also the ark of the "old" covenant. Or more specifically the covenant of the law which has now been lived out and fulfilled in Christ on our behalf ect ect. So I guess Christ is the ark of the new covenant?

I heard that before. I watched a documentary once when they went under the Temple or something, but maybe they didn't go all the way because of some restrictions.

I am not sure that I heard that an Ethiopian looked though.

I have also seen a documentary maybe the same one and heard some things or theories that it is with the Ethiopians in a Temple that they have. I think it may have some connection to the claimed son of Solomon from the queen of the south and having a royal lineage that has now been exiled and or so forth. I also heard that for some reason there are a lot of Ethiopian Jews.

I am just surprised unless there is that there is no historical information on it. I mean did the Romans take it when the Temple was destroyed. Or was it taken when the an abomination of desolation occured?

I think that the verse may be saying that they will not rely on the Lord anymore once they are strong and therefore not look to the Ark. I would have to read more thoroughly to be sure though. I think it may be a good point that they are not now relying on the Lord, but if you are saying this I do not think it means that they will no longer have the Ark. I think though that once the veil was rent that the earthly Temple was basically finished and so also the Ark though I believe something will be restored though not anointed. I also wonder about this as to when the anointing left because I think it may have still been in effect when Jesus was on earth since Jesus called God's house and so forth.

I'd hope that Natan would chime is as he seems to be good at these things.

Have you watched the Ron Wyatt documentaries on Noah's Ark, The Red Sea Crossing and The Ark of the Covenant excavation?

He was a humble man and I really believe the Lord led him in all these things as he spoke continually of prayer and divine appointments that helped him find these sites.

Well, we've all heard and read a lot about where the Ark might be, but let's take a look at scripture and draw from it what we can.

Jer 52v17-23 lists articles that were taken away to Babylon via King Nebuchadnezzer, the Ark is not mentioned. We can only supposed if it had been taken, it would have been mentioned.

When it was taken, back in 1 Sam 4, much is made of it.

2 Chron 36v18 tells us that articles from the house of God, small and great were taken to Babylon.

Small and great? Maybe the Ark?

Ezra 1v7, King Cyrus has the articles from the house of God that were taken to Babylon returned. It goes on to mention platters, knives, basins etc.

We would think that something that was so valued as the Ark was, would get a mention, if it was being returned. But yet again, there is no mention of it.

So, we can only continue to speculate as to where it might be.

As for it being in Ethiopia, for me that's just nonsense.

As it is, we now have boldness, through the blood of Jesus, to enter the holy of holies.

I find it interesting that there is only one verse about the Ark of the Covenant found in the New Testament. It is found in the Book of Revelation, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet.

"And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." - Revelation 11:19

Now, I don't know if this is [i]the[/i] same Ark that once traveled around the wilderness and finally came to rest in the Temple. It could be a "type and a shadow" of what was on Earth (or vice versa). More importantly, there is no emphasis on the Ark anymore. The apostles never mentioned it. Jesus never mentioned it. Why? It may not have been in the Temple at the time. More importantly, the veil of the Temple was rent in twain. The Temple was no longer the "holy place" that it once was...because God's presence now dwells within men...and their bodies are His Temple.

Is the Ark on Earth? Is it in Heaven? I don't know that ANY of us know.

I don't know where God has placed the Ark but apparently many of the old temple treasures including the menorrah are held in the vaults of the vatican. Now, I am only repeating what has been commonly said on the subject since I have never wandered the vaults of the vatican myself. But every couple of years chief rabbi's appeal to the vatican for the return of the tresures. Now, many people believe that the Roman Church will play a major role in the last days, will this play a part in events? Probably best not to speculate but at least we know that our Lord knows how it will all play out.

I know I watched some documentary, but I cannot remember the name of it so it may be from him.

I haven't seen the Noah's Ark one though I have heard some thing here and there.

I have watched a documentary about the red sea crossing. I also watched one about Mt. Sinai and was going to ask some people if they thought it was legit.

From what I saw in the documentary I saw about Mt. Sinai it did seem like the miraculous doors were opening.

Don't tell anyone, I dont want this to go public... but the Ark is in my attic. Some guy with a brown leather jacket, a frumpy hat and a whip appeared at our house one day with a big box and asked us to hide it in our attic. I think he said he found it somewhere in Indiana, but I dont remember. Anyway... keep this under you hat. I dont need the Discovery Channel snooping around.

I think the ark was destroyed, just like the temple veil was wrent in two and the temple was destroyed. God had no further use for it. His presence no longer rest there...
