Let us Speak all the same thing

In 1 Cor. 1:10 Paul of course begs us to be of the same judgment and mind. Yet how come we see this no where not even on this website. But in many sermons they way of salvation is different. Some believe in salvation from all sin, some don't, some believe you can walk away from salvation, some don't. Some believe in a tribulation, some don't. Than we are supposed to agree on essentials. But what is essential? Hebrews 6, shows us the principle doctrines of Christ, yet everyone differs on these. How can a house divided stand? This can not be Christ church! The people in Cor, continued in the same doctrine at least, but were contentious and causing strife in who they follow. Now we don't even have the same doctrine. People point to Calvin, more than Christ teachings, and try to fit Christ teachings around there doctrines? Where is line drawn? Are we even to go by names, that is not even scriptual, to be a baptist, or pentacostal, or southern baptist, aog, etc. Well I know that this confusion is not of God, its of man. And till we resolve it we would still be in a besetting sin, a habitual sin, the worse kind of division, which God abhors. We don't want revival, we don't even want unity. Psalms 133. How can we even begin to win the lost World, when the people who do want revival, can not even agree on the teachings of Christ?

patricks916,

In consideration of what is apparent, yet there remains the incontrovertible Truth of the Word of God.

In Hebrews 2:8 it is written, "Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not made subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him.

As here in Hebrews, the reality of oneness may not yet be seen now.

My encouragement comes not by what I may be observing, but by faith in the reality of what truly is according to His Word.

This is no pie in the sky optimism, but rather through faith and by faith seeing His Kingdom in power and in Glory in our midst as it truly is.(Heb. 1:1)

This brief message at the link below may be insightful, enlightening, and encouraging to you and/or others who may make time to listen. I pray that such would be the case for many.
