I was not thinking of participating in this forum, but I found this message and would like to bump it up again. I happen to live in Latin America and I have asked myself the same question. Churches are generally growing and there is quite some talk about revival, but mostly in the sense of "numerical growth" or "strange manifestations". Nothing genuine so far - as far as I can see. I know I am quite "negative" in this respect, but this is out of personal experience and observation. I would describe most evangelical churches here as still catholic in heart, with some pentecostal icing on top. So, I would be interested myself in knowing if there has ever been a genuine revival in Latin America.
I have read that the Azusa Street revival later affected Chile in some degree around 1910, but I was not yet able to find any details about it.
