The World under water

the World has turned into a fast moving ball , full of rottenness , corruption, vileness and every other-ness , and as it goes it does collect all that's in its way and mould it onto itself like a garment . The church of Jesus Christ is largely sleeping like a great bedroom and so what happens when the watchman sleeps , the enemy besieges the city . As the church is so is the World , as the church goes , so goes the World . We have seen so much gross passivity in the body of Christ which resonates with the cruelty and the sinfulness surrounding us . I am sick and sick and sick again of people leaving around as in the case of sheep without a shepherd . . .

Yes, the Church is largely asleep, but we can also gain comfort in knowing that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us, and that He is able to keep us from falling.

Rather than looking mostly at what is wrong with the Church, let us do what we can, through Christ, to be what He wants us to be, and to do what He wants us to do.
