What is up with this 2012 stuff? Does anyone have any historical information concerning this? What do you all think about it? I know what I think about it? I'll hold my response until I hear others.

We have all, myself included, gotten trapped into speaking and thinking accordingly to what the latest thing 'is' rather than remianing led by God's Holy Spirit. May we all received God's true convictions in our lifes rather than placing so much on the things on this earth.

There are actually alot of religions stating in their holy books the end of the world is predicted around this time. For instance the inca religion says this. Also there is a large comet coming to earth very close to our solar system and that is a big concern for many.
is there anything historical I can look at for research?
I know that it is all gibber gabber, but I a open air and this may be something that is going to be brought up.
