One of the 4 overwhelming sins of Babylon at the end of the age is [b]IMMORALITY
When we , as a nation, have chosen to legislate our own morality, and choose permissiveness as freedom, the Flesh is then set free to devour.
The entire pre-flood World, and Sodom itself had been deluged with this INDEPENDENCE from the ways of the Lord beyond repentance, suffocated as a society in the very same rivers of filth, and at some point, the Lord had to make an end of it, for He too, experiences the exact same anger as we do. [ Those of us who are grieved over the lust and sin ...] The Lord however, doesn't become frustrated, He just JUDGES.
We are entering into the beginning stages of this judgment, for the Lord has never, in all of history, allowed a society to go unpunished. We are now in the front of the line, and the only thing that can save us is a sorrow for what we have allowed, is a repenting, a turning away from it, on a National scale, and even then, IF God will show mercy. At some point, the rebellion itself becomes evil set in stone, and the Lord will not repent.
I have had a hard time getting behind this Independence day celebration. I have a sense of mourning and dread. I see multitudes in the valley of decision, drunken, and opiated with the world.
Has anyone heard a peep from one of our national leaders about humbling ourselves as a Nation, or days of fasting and prayer? No! that would be illegal.
"Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
I would like to begin with a call to those here on sermonindex to join me for a three day call to mourn and beg God for help, and deliverance. We need revival, unto repentance; for our nation, our fellowships, for the sake of our children, friends, those lost and not yet named in the Lamb's book of Life, and for our own souls, to return to our first loves; our first devotion and consecration.
JULY 31ST, and AUGUST 1ST and AUGUST 2ND.
...secretly, prayer and devotion united in one theme...."Show mercy Jesus, Send Life!", and personal consecration and repentance.
Remember those that the angel marked in Jerusalem that mourned and wept over her rebellions and witchcraft? My heart is already there, as I know that many of yours are. If we can separate ourselves, and yet be joined in spirit and purpose, I believe the Lord will honor that, and at least let us see the beginnings of the Pure Bride, as the Father washes her.
I would like your thoughts and feedback. I am not desiring anything but a unity of hearts, in the context of a substantial time, where we could all intercede for a sick nation and a sick church, not counting the sickness that has crept into our own lives in various areas of compromise and unbelief. No man lifted up, but intercession; for ourselves and others.
Judgment MUST first begin at the house of God. We'll call it Dependence Day.
