Hi everyone. Shalom, We all must believe the bible to be true all of it. Doctrine must be sound consistent with the revealed truth from God. God can not lie. The truth is in Him(Jesus) and we are in him that is true even Jesus. 1Corinthians 12:13 says by one Spirit we are baptized into the body of Jesus, this work of Spirit baptism is unique in the new testament(covenant), not in the old.(covenant)The fullfillment of this ministry is unique only to the Church which began 7 weeks after Passover. We all agree Jesus is the first fruits from the dead.(1 Corinthians 15) This feast pentecost(feast of weeks) comemerates the giving of the Law but on the first pentecost after Jesus resurrection begins the Last Days(Joel 2) the birth of the Church.( a baby took a breath and the Spirit entered in) . A definate beginning (baptism of the Holy Spirit) never happened before Acts 1:5 says he shall and Acts 2 he did(baptize individuals into the body of Messiah) not known in ages past but now revealed. The last Days continue till the end of the Tribulation and then Christ brings in his Kingdom of everlasting righteousness.The time of Great Tribulation (Daniel 12, Jacobs Trouble term in the book of Jeremiah) refers only to Israel not the body of Messiah for our Kingdom is in Heaven for whence we look for the Savior not on earth this wrath is poured out on those who dwell on earth for rejecting the Gospel.We believe and are washed in the Blood of the Lamb, Revelation 7 says" these are they that came out of great tribulation who washed their robes white in the Blood of the Lamb. Read the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ there are 24 elders I ask you to search the scriptures to see who they are. (Revelation 5:9 Thou HAST Redeemed US) The purchased possession is There in Heaven, the Apostle writes ' you were sealed (and it is so) with that Holy Spirit of promise(The promise of my Father Jesus said) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. I believe the scripture teaches the body of Jesus is in Heaven in the place he prepared for his Bride during the Tribulation. Everyone who turns to the Lord in the tribulation will be martyred (Revelation 13:7) oh and the Beast is quite upset at 'them that dwell in heaven'(Revelation 13 :6) look at verse 15 of the same chapter he has power to kill as many as would not worship the image. It is clear the only preparation for The great Tribulation is to live now for Jesus and be concerned about souls for Jesus came to save sinners. Imminency not knowing the day or hour in contrast to events which must take place before he Reigns.
