It's good. I really like the redux. It's nice not having that one contemporary song in the middle of it. I do miss the story of the Moravians that is on the end of the original Revival Hymn.

That one clip when Duncan Campbell talks about the people flooding to the church, when the community was gripped with the awareness of God is so powerful. God revealing His awesome presence...His power...and then tied together with one of the last clips toward the end,

"Very well, a revival, I said, is just a kind of "touch" of His glory...A fleeting glimpse of Something of what He is; in and of Himself."

And it is possible for Him to do that again!

That is what impressed me from the redux the first time I watched it...

This is outstanding! I am glad you have made it available for download and I would love to show it to my church if I may.

The Revival Hymn is excellent but I personally think this version is even better and one that is better suited for presentation at church.

Good production and good quotes, but for me the content of the original is much better. I loved the Ravenhill quotes on the old one.

If we could get the first one edited down to 10-15 minutes skipping the humanism section (which is good but just doesnt quite fit in with the rest of it) it would be perfect! (in my opinion of course :-) )

So disappointed to see the first image to be that of Mr. Paisley adorned in an Orange Sash. I firmly believe that masonry and sectarianism are mighty hindrances to revival. How can God work when these two spirits - masonry and sectarianism are being promoted?
I have been blessed by the materials at Sermon Index for many years and never before have seen anything promoted that has grieved me. I cannot put into words how I feel at such an image being used to promote revival. I really do not know what to say.
God will send revival; God will send revival in Ireland; God will not bless masonry and sectarianism.
I offer these comments as a humble servant of God who prays and labours for revival right throughout Ireland and knows the devastating affects that these two evil spirits have had on our land.

since you asked...i find it a bit too hip with the graphics. it's too "cool" for my liking.

and i stand with know-Him on the masonry issue. i had no idea...

but: i also know God is big, very, very big. and i know that He is using this site. i attach the words "i know" to very few things, but i don't have any doubt about that.

we'll see what He says. love your heart.

Roniya, for a version of the original revival hymn, without the contemporary song, go over to the HeartCry website.

hey, just to clarify..on the masonry issue, i simply meant that i don't like the pic. yes, i think it is very evil, but i also know God is bigger than any human game. but: i think it would be better left out of there, as some with mixed understandingt might think masonry is ok b/c they saw that photo attached to the revival hymn. we really can't plan for/try to combat everyone's wrong thinking, etc. but hey, just a thought. hope that makes sense.
