Is the second rendering of each of the following verses the correct interpretation of their meaning? Please answer "YES" or "NO" for each verse. This is just so we can have a consensus of the interpretive style of Christians on Sermon Index. Please don't change the subject or include extensive commentary. This isn't a debate. It is for the sake of curiosity only.

1.___________________________________________________
- John 6:44 - No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him...
- John 6:44 - The Father who sent Me can draw no one unless they come to Me. 2.___________________________________________________
- John 6:37 - All that the Father gives Me will come to Me...
- John 6:37 - All that come to Me, the Father then gives to Me. 3.___________________________________________________
- Matt. 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.
- Matt. 22:14 - For few choose, but many are called.
4.___________________________________________________
- John 10:26 - But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.
- John 10:26 - But you are not My sheep because you do not believe.
5.___________________________________________________
- Acts 13:48 - ...and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

- Acts 13:48 - ...and as many as had believed were appointed to eternal life.
6.___________________________________________________

-John 1:13 - who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

OK.. I believe in Election as taught in the scripture which some people would call Calvinistic. But I think this exercise is pointless. Anyone could do the same thing with verses that "seem" to teach free will or call MEN to choose God.

Seem's very one sided.

1._Yes to the first verse, No to the second the wording is not right. __________________________________________________
- John 6:44 - No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him...

2.___Yes to the first verse, but the second the wording is not right. ________________________________________________
- John 6:37 - All that the Father gives Me will come to Me...
- John 6:37 - All that come to Me, the Father then gives to Me.

3.__Yes to the first, No to the second the wording is not right. _________________________________________________
- Matt. 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.
- Matt. 22:14 - For few choose, but many are called.

4.__Both verses are saying the same thing, so I agree.

5.__Same as my other answers, the second verse is wrong._________________________________________________
- Acts 13:48 - ...and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

- Acts 13:48 - ...and as many as had believed were appointed to eternal life.

6._The second verse is most erroneous. It wouldn't surprise me if these verses came out of the Message Bible. __________________________________________________
