Something Big is about to happen...

S
soulrider Sep 1, 2009

I write this solemnly, but without regret as I woke up this morning with my spirit burning.

Listen, something big is about to happen, very very soon. When it does, head to the nearest shelter, the L-rd put it on my heart to head to the local highschool.

Seek the L-rd for yourself in this matter, pray dilegently.

If you haven't had time to share the gospel with your loved ones for any reason - I urge you, do it quickly - the time is now.

Prepare yourselves, don't be afraid, and God bless you all;

Sincerely

Once more GOD is going to shake the earth and
the heavens. Make sure your hope and faith are
placed in what cannot be shaken; HIS eternal
purpose and kingdom !!

I truly wish this were true for nothing could be more joyous than to be finally home with God. Nevertheless, scripture says in the words of the Lord Jesus himself:

Mt 24:36-44 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

Scripture is clear on this.

I also know in my spirit that something big is coming. I went through about a year long backslide from discouragement and a need of a revelation of God's Grace and Love for His children.
In ministry for years, and the Lord opening my eyes and having me speak to the sins and lukewarmness of the church we were are a part of, I was discouraged and despondant. The Lord taught me much about grace and His love after all this, and I am changed.
Anyways, all the things I had preached against early on, I had actually become. I was hiding from God on my leather couch, with my 60" TV, my Playstation3, my wine, etc. I just gave up and rolled over and played dead.
The Lord in His infinite mercy reached into this environment (I was formerly a gun-toting drug dealer and a very violent man who got miraculously saved and delivered over a decade ago - I had seen the Lord work miracle after miracle since my new birth) and spoke to me as I walked up my stairs one day.
He said, "Son, there is something big coming, and you are not ready." It broke me that He even still loved me after all I had done to try to hide myself from Him. I was BROKEN and now I understand not only His righteous judgements and His wrath, but also truly His grace, love, and mercy!!
And, I am not some, as some of you may assume (as I would have at one time), someone who thought they were saved and living in false assurance and willful sin. Andrew Strom and his family has stayed in my home, I have ministered on the streets with Darren Smith, I have been to Myanmar with David Servant, etc. My point is that I KNOW I WAS BORN AGAIN, and still became so discouraged and disillusioned by the enemy's lies that I truly did backslide.
Anyways, this was about 6 months ago now, or so. We (my wife and 5 small kiddos) have sold our house (and everything else), moved to the country, and am in the process of buying a fifth wheel to live in. Not the call for everyone I am sure, but what the Lord has told us to do. I sensed a great urgency several months ago, as I know many others did, including men of reputable public ministry like David Wilkerson and others.
Well, over the last month, or maybe two, it seemed to be less of an everpresent sense of urgency. I prayed and asked the Lord if we jumped the gun or rushed ahead of Him in presumption, and the Lord spoke to me again and said, "the calm before the storm."
Our suppossed "economic recovery" as stated in the media would confirm this sort of thing. It is quiet again lately it seems. Well, a couple of nights ago I had a VERY SURREAL DREAM about a huge storm on the very horizon. I knew inwardly what it was and still the Spirit spoke that "the time is short" and to make final preperations as He leads.
With all love and respect, I don't think the scriptures you referenced pertain to what is coming, but to the actual day/hour when Christ returns. In fact, those who were "marrying and given in marriage" and going about their business when the flood of judgment came were the lost, not the Lord's. Obviously Noah had been preparing for it, as the Lord led, for years, and knew when to get in the ark, and was saved.
Noone I know has claimed to even know the DAY or the HOUR of what is coming, but only that it is coming soon. Didn't Jesus give a rebuke for "not knowing the seasons and the signs of the time"? Also, look in the book of Acts and see where the Lord spoke to the church in Jerusalem and warned them that a famine was coming to the land, so they prepared and were saved. Joseph and the famine in the land. Etc.
Go back, examine these scriptures you reference and see that this is referring to His coming in the clouds of glory (His final return) and still that it refers to noone knowing the actual date/hour, not necessarily that the Holy Spirit won't be speaking urgency to those who are His to be ready.
Also, our America-central mindsight, theology, and psychology makes us think that the end of the world hinges on America as the center of God's plan. It doesn't. If you study the prophetic books and eschatology in depth, you know that America could be totally annihalated and it wouldn't affect end-times events one bit.
We think if we were wiped out or something it would be the culmination of time and space. Not true. You see Israel and the coutries of the east in the end-times scriptures with not alot of glaring references to what appears to be America. So, again, using the scripture references you did, doesn't exactly parralell with the possibility of a calamity.
Do you think God might have warned whatever believers were in Hiroshima before the bomb was dropped? I don't know if He did or not, but He could have. Time square church in New York was warning of a calamity coming in the weeks before 911. They were right, and God was warning His church to be sober and vigilant and prepare their hearts and their hands for service.
I believe when men like Paul Washer speak of soon coming great persecution, Andrew Strom of a coming depression, David Wilkerson & Carter Conlon of a soon calamity, Kay Arthur of a coming famine, etc., etc., and the Lord speaks to me and to many other "unknowns" brethren in their spirit - I believe it is coming, it is coming soon (although with God that could be tomorrow, next month, next year, etc.), and that God is lovingly warning His children to prepare their hearts and their hands for service.
Blessings and Peace,
Jeff

Jeffmar,

Go back, examine these scriptures you reference and see that this is referring to His coming in the clouds of glory (His final return) and still that it refers to noone knowing the actual date/hour, not necessarily that the Holy Spirit won't be speaking urgency to those who are His to be ready.

Please read the quoted verses again (Mt 24:36-44). No need for extra-biblical revelation here --- the admonition to always be ready (for believers) has been given to us in scripture. No need for these emotions, dreams, claims to prophesy or fame. That message has been with us for a long time... all you had to do was read the bible.

First off... I believe we are at the end of days. I have no doubt about that. Since I believe that then I know without a doubt that "big things" are coming for that is what the Bible teaches.

However, I wish I have a dime for every "something big is going to happen soon" post on this forum I could finance 50 missionaries, and could afford to go to the mission field myself.

I'm not saying God didnt give you that word. I can not be the judge of that... but let's just say "yea, we get it".

Let me encourage everyone reading this to get serious about your faith today. Not because "something big is coming" but because you might be dead and standing before the Lord an hour from now.

Dont hesitate to share the gospel because we might be gone from this earth by dinner time.

No scare tactics needed... just obey the Bible!

Greetings
A few days ago I posted a thread about sensing that time was short. I had the sense and the urging form the Lord that time is moving faster(perhaps not literally) but the jest of it was this. Our time here on this earth is short, and we are instructed to live as if everyday is our last day. For me this is not about trying to discern Revelations. Its about living our lives daily, pouring our lives out for others, caring for one another and seeking to be about His Kingdom. The time is short and yes things will happen, Jesus said there will be wars, and rumors of wars, floods and famines but we are not to worry about that we are to walk in faith in Him and live our lives unto Him. Personally what I take away from this urging of the Lord is to repent, to seek Him daily of those things that are not of Him and to be living for Him moment by moment. Sharing the good news of Jesus is something we should always be about regardless. I pray that I will not ever become complacent in that regard again.

I agree with what Krispy shared just obey the Lord and let the other stuff take care of itself, Father will always care for us.

God Bless

... just obey the Bible!

If it was that easy! But, its not.

Many of God's children do not easily heed warnings, instructions....The comforts and pleasures of the world deludes many Saints. When Isreal went astray the Lord always raised up an enemy against them to bring them back. God uses disasters to bring His Children, (those who do not easily take heed of His word), back to Him.

Don't be deceive, even the ones who can preach a right message have fallen back to the world, its lust and basic principles that has cause many to be faithless toward His promises. They just don't see it because they continue to compare their life with other weaker saints and not the word.

Thanks Jeff for a God glorifying testimony. A testimony of revival. I wish many Saints have testimonies to share. A living testimony of their life seriously taking heed to God's word. And it will show by their life, not just words! Not by mere words will help the Saints to wake up, or right doctrine, but by a life living the cross because they believe His words. That's power that will exhort other saints to draw near to God.

Jeff, I thank you for your testimony, and I also appreciate what "My First Love" has shared.

Many intercessors have received warnings of judgements coming to America for many years now. I believe that we should be taking these warnings seriously and seeking the Lord concerning these things. The one thing that we don't know is the timing of these events.

My husband was praying this last saturday and asked the Lord what scripture to turn to, the Lord impressed on his heart Isaiah 13.(we read from New living bible)
He read it with amazement and felt the urgency and had to share it with our family, it was burning in his heart.
It speaks of the imminent day of the Lord and even contains the references used in the NT of the sun, moon and stars not giving their light! My husband works in public service and has been sent to anti terrorism meetings recently, encouraging them all to be extra vigilant and to report anything out of the ordinary.
They were told it is not a matter of 'if' but 'when'. I believe God is preparing His people and will protect his own. I thank God my life and my family is in His hands and nothing can ever separate us from that love.

Listen, something big is about to happen, very very soon. When it does, head to the nearest shelter, the L-rd put it on my heart to head to the local highschool.

please stay away from schools, malls, stadiums, any place that could be shut down around you unless you believe 100 percent that God wants you there. Remember katrina, they seperated families just like they did in the nazi concentration camps. That was a dry run for how they intend to treat people when the bottom drops out. They have been training ministers to lead christians to government run facilities when they create their next false flag. Google it. I do expect the market to crash soon and they could very well shut down the banks, atm's etc. Please make sure you have extra cash out of the banks at all times. Stock up on food and warm clothing as they may shut down the grid altogether. Something is brewing people. I have been studying what they are up to for five years now and the holy spirit prompts me often to look into things. God does say that if we are told something and do not sound a warning the blood of those who perish will be on our hands.

Ezekial Chapter 3
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

The crash of '29 was created by the fed, this one will be much worse because none of us actually own anything and the fed and the banks will take all you own.

May God be with us all in the coming months.

"artsy",another creation of Wayne? This thread wreaks of "Loingirder", who was also created by Wayne (AKA Wayneman).

"artsy" was created on 10/21/09, just in time to respond to this thread. What is the purpose? To mock everyone other than himself!

Take a look at Loingirders posts, and then check this one out, and you will see what I mean.

Who is this "Wayne" dude anyway?

This is who he really is:

To answer your first question, I am 42. LoinGirder's immaturity was part of the joke. LoinGirder is me when I was fifteen and my Heroes of the Faith were Jack Chick, Mike Warnke and Keith Green. Now I look back and cringe at the nonsense I believed and the way I treated people for disbelieving the nonsense that I believed. My excuse is that I was fifteen. I can't tell you how many times I've read posts on this forum and assumed that the writer was 15, only to find he was in his fifties or sixties, or even in his seventies, like that poor "Intensity" nut who got booted off the forum. (Remember when he called you a "pompous fop" for disagreeing with his doctrine? I don't know how a guy who wears horn-rimmed glasses and polyester leisure suits and carries a Jack Van Impe Soulwinner's Bible gets labelled a "fop" but anyway...) I was literally shocked to learn that Intensity was 73 years old! He had the psychology of a teenager - a fragile ego trying to vaunt itself into manhood - and an immature teenager at that. But there you are: dogmatism is always marked by an unusual level of emotional immaturity.

You seem to think that my humorous twisting of the Scripture to support fundamentalism is irreverent and I might be in trouble with the Almighty. I don't. Sanctified satire is justifiable because there is no better way to disaffect people to error than getting them to laugh at it. And fundamentalism is error. In fact, it is a heresy in the strictest New Testament sense of the term. When you sift through the rhetoric, fundamentalism defines "faith" as "sound doctrine." This is a vast departure from "the faith once delivered unto all the saints." Sound doctrine is essential, because saving faith can only arise from a foundation of Gospel truth - no one needs to explain that to you! But faith and doctrine are not the same thing, yet fundamentalism confounds them, making no distinction. Faith in Jesus is synonymous with faith in evangelical theology. Keep this in mind when you persuse your favorite heresy watchdog websites and you will see that this is the case.

Why do fundamentalists infallibly fall into bibliolatry - making an idol out of a casket of words?
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The ultimate purpose of the Scriptures is to lead us to Christ"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By this do you mean a living, personal, experiential relationship with Christ? If so, why do fundamentalists stop short, worshipping the roadmap instead of following the road? Why do they obsess over the errors of others? Why do they perceive "compromise" as the primal sin? Why do they reduce the Bible to an object that they can control, instead of a subject that acts upon and controls them?

All these follies arise from the fundamental error of confounding faith with dogma. But this error did not occur by chance; it arose from the peculiar adolescent psychology of the sectarian.

Sincerely,

Walter
