Phoenix Pastor Tells Church He Prays for Obama's Death

I read this last night and was so sad and angry afterwards. Sad that this man could be so deceived that he could ever think God would condone this kind of hate. Sad for those who this man might lead away from God with his hatred, and angry that real Christians will be grouped together with him. Real christian know that the Bible clearly tells us to love and care for others not spew hate. This preacher is guilty of murder in the eyes of the Lord and if he has any real understanding of what following Jesus means he will get down on his knees and repent. I do not agree with the president but this no way justifies this kind of hate. Hate that comes straight from the enemy and hell. We need to pray for Mr. Obama that he would repent and see his great need for Jesus. Is this preacher any less guilty of the sin that nailed Jesus to the cross, are any of us?

Thank you Krispy for posting this so that true Christians can stand up firmly against this kind of preaching and denounce it for the sin that it is.

Clearly this guy is a hypocrite. I wouldn't even believe that his anti-abortion stance is sincere. More likely he is trying to gain fame or notoriety at the expense of the true church.

Ironically, the Minutemen leaders on the panel were claiming that they didn't know who those people were...and were urging them to "shut up." The Minutemen leaders on the panel claimed that they did not support shooting anyone.

It turns out that those loud "protesters" were actually AGAINST the Minutemen...and using this sort of chaos technique to supposedly draw attention to what they felt was going on along the border. In other words, they were only [i]acting[/i] like they were Minutemen in order to bring ridicule to their cause.

I suppose that this could be the same sort of act. There are people who would stop at nothing to bring ridicule to those who disagree with them.

Regardless, this "preacher" really needs to meet the authentic Jesus Christ.

I took a look at his website, it's the same dead *extreme* fundamentalist drivel that prides itself on an [i]un[/i]biblical doctrine of seperatism and straining at gnats. This mp3 sermon by Phil Johnson is an excellent critique of such ideology, it's the third sermon down on the list.

Mind if I share a story?

Several years ago at CPC I got a call from an adoption agency. They got a client in who was 8 1/2 months pregnant and she wanted to put her child up for adoption. She fled an abusive male in AL so all the clothes she had was what was on her back and they were meager. They were asking us for assistance. I said sure, come ahead..

They came in ten minutes. This lady was obviously very pregnant and her dress was a couple sizes too small - she definitely needed clothes. I brought her into the office and proceeded to interview her like we usual and I worked to make the client feel comfortable. I went through our clothes closet and found some nice clothes, gave them to her and she went to the rest room to put them on. She came back out, looking very nice. They left.

The next day 'they' took her to the welfare office to help her get set up for medical assistance and other benefits. While they were standing in line waiting until an official could help them the lady from the doption agency went around the corner to get some food from a venting machine. It was noontime and they were hungry. They did not want to leave the line because they would lose their place. When she came back, this woman had disappeared. She looked all over for her but could not find her. There were no places she could go to and not be found.

Later this adoption agency got word from other agencies of a similar incident. Who was she? We never did find out...obviously it was not an angel...

My perspective - I was the one who took care of her....I saw red flags in dealing with her. She did not act like a client in a crises. For one thing, she was very comfortable in our office. Unusual. But I treated her with cheerfulness and love and just like I did all the others...And no one ever saw her disrobe...some seem to think she was not even pregnant.

Now, who was she? To me she was a spy but for whom? Good question.

My point is the government knows, I am sure. We just do not know who their spies are. And I would guess they also spy out this website and who knows? there may be a poster here who posts a lot that works as a spy...but if we walk according to the WORD what do we have to fear? It is God who we should fear and not man.

I wanted to share a couple of passages here.

I [b]do not[/b] mean for them to be taken as directed to Krispy or anyone else here. I understand the desire to talk about something like this. If it is true, this and other things like it are a terrible grief and blotch for us and I can understand wanting to talk about it.

The one passage that has come to mind often is the portion of the proverb that says [b]hatred stirs up strifes[/b].

The other, which I read today, says that an ungodly man digs up evil, and in his lips there is a burning fire.

I thought the verses were appropriate to the comments that were made by the pastor, [b]if[/b] these things are true.

I think they also say something about the kind of people that might try to use things like this to start trouble for Christians.

The devices that are available to wicked people seem like they have no bounds and no end. And it may look like they are always wining. But they haven't considered the end.

Ive heard of this preacher many years ago when he did a very horrible video reply to a great message on youtube by paul washer.

What is interesting is that the preacher has the entire New Testament memorized and actually has some beneficial techniques in helping people memorize the word. Yet, this does no one any good if its applied and twisted in the wrong way :-o

He is very strict fundamentalist and reminds me of fred phelps and the westboro baptist racist , hatred centered fellowship. The twist of the true nature of Jesus and his gospel is so perverse it is baffling.
