NOTE: I don't fully agree with all of what IHOP is and all the speakers that come through there, but having a man of God like Art Katz to speak there will surely be a blessing to that church and to anyone that attends to visit. If you are in the Kansas City or surrounding area try to make it.---Art Katz at IHOPThe International House of Prayer-Kansas City began 24-hour-a-day worship and intercession on Yom Kippur, September 19, 1999. This year, during IHOP's fifth anniversary, Art Katz will conduct a seminar entitled "Becoming a Prophetic Church."In this seminar, Art Katz will address what it means to be a prophetic Church. Great change is coming to the whole Church worldwide, resulting in the Church either being prophetic or falling away from the faith. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:10). The prophetic call on the Church in the End-Times includes interpreting to the nation (political, military, economic, religious leaders) the significance of current events, both blessings and tragedies, as well as bringing understanding of future events and realities to be set in motion by God Himself. The mandate and future glory of the prophetic Church is dynamically related to embracing Israel in the coming persecution from the nations, called Jacob's Trouble (Jer. 30:4-7). In this context, God will purify, empower and increase His Church in a way that provokes Israel to jealousy unto salvation (Rom. 11:11, 12, 26).All are welcome and there is no registration. All meetings will be held at the IHOP-KC prayer sanctuary, and there will be children's ministry during all sessions. If you are in the Kansas City or surrounding area try to make it.Brother it thrills my heart to hear that Art is coming to KC. I have to make it a point to be there Monday! After all the madness that took place with the KC Prophets and such, I pray that God will resurrect REAL REVIVAL in our city. Not the flaky nonsense- but REPENTANCE revival and a revival for God's glory. There are a lot of people that moved to KC years ago that are now "Out of Church Christians." They got so hurt that many do not go to church at all who were devout Christians. I believe the wife of Keith Green once lived in that area longing to see God move. Prayer going up 24 hours a day there! And where there is fire- there is also a swarm of devilish hindrances and people who are trying to destroy all God wants to do in America! Brother Art needs much prayer as he moves into this region of spirituality.His nature and the position the Lord has brought him into does not allow him to handle the Word of God in a light manner if the situation requires intervention.The prophetic offence will show forth even more forceful among those who pretend acquaintance with the prophetic realm.L. Amen. I agree that we must hold him up in prayer. I'm praying also for great boldness for him to speak as he ought to speak. Wisdom and discernment coupled with God moving in the hearts of the hearers that they might respond rightly and permanently to the truth. moreover, I am praying that God would put to silence the falshood and pretense. Anything that would be a reproach on His name.

I know you were planning to attend some of these meetings. Do have any updates for us?I was able to meet with Giancarlo (Forevidence) yesterday here in California and it was a tremendous blessing to pray with this young man. He went to IHOP and heard Art Katz and got me all the cd's so I will be getting them up soon for everyone to hear on this site. Also BenIsrael Art Katz's ministry should be getting me most of his videos and audio materials to get up on the site also. God is good. I was able to meet Robert Wurtz earlier this week here in California and he said that the meeting he went to was a tremendous blessing.
