A very sobering piece. Islam's reproach of the Lord and his Christ is soon to reach the exponential filling point of upheaval; the point of no return.

For Europe, it is too late, and a mere matter of time. Sharia law is already partially instituted, and gaining geographic ground each day. There are now Muslim courts in some countries; allowed to decide and enforce judicial decisions apart from the laws of that particular constitution.

It seems that that as this occurs, the west, including America, is similarly growing impotent. The video brings out that the cold war had a counterbalance ; MAD....Mutual Assured Destruction; that balanced the aggression, and kept the balance necessary for Peace.

It also pointed out that say with Achminajad [ the President of Iran...] it doesn't matter; they don't care. Their destruction may be a good thing, sparing their people, assuring a quick entrance into the pleasures of Allah in Paradise. they are very close to acquiring the Nukes necessary, and will by religious conviction, use them. no one will stop them.

This video also points to the "radicalization" of Islam throughout the world, and in America. Very young children are being taught the glories of martyrdom, sharia, and even the glory of beheading the infidel. It is akin to the Christian passing from the lukewarm stage, to the "disciple" stage of full commitment to God.

Obama is a Muslim, and spoke about being attracted to Islam as a boy, because of the call to total obedience and prayer. He was educated in one of these radical schools as a boy, until perhaps 12 or 13 years old. He, of course, has never renounced Islam, and greeted the mulim crowds and nations with the one pure aloha of the devoted....Allah is the one and only God, and is King. The shahâda, or basic Muslim profession of faith, is as follows:

"Lâ ilâha illâ Allâh" (there is no god but God),

"There is widespread ignorance in regard to Islam. Muslims equate Islam with peace, but the word for peace in Arabic is “Salaam,” not “Islam.” It means “surrender or to make peace by laying down one’s arms in submission."

christian apologist...
Obama also spoke:

"aSalaam 'Alaykum" which means "Peace Be Upon You".

In Arabic it means that I am surrendered to Allah, as all should....and jihad , the end of all Islam, is implied in each and every confession of this greeting.

The white horse of Muhammad, you know, the one he road off to heaven in at the temple mount? Is it the same one written in Revelation that rides to conquer, and wage war? Of course it is. I believe it is the antichrist, and we are in total war now...just watching the power shift.

So, what should we as Christians do? Should we be afraid?

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Should we go to war with them and fight them?

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Should we love them and be a witness to them?

Matthew 5:43-44
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Rev. 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I think it is time to look to and obey the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and stop listening to the words of those who are trying to get us to look at what man can do unto us.

Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Luke 12:4-5
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. [5] But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

We all have been given a choice, who are we really afraid of?

Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rev. 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

and even the glory of beheading the infidel.

Years ago when I read Revelation 20:4 suspected this word to be an archaic term denoting 'killing' or martyrdom, not a method in which this occurred. However, since Islam is growing at alarming rates and reading about their aggression and mentality I can now understand how this scripture could really mean exactly what it says. Hence, my growing sense that Islam will play an prominent role in the end-times prophecies. This was unforeseen 40 years. Back then it was communism but they did not behead people, except, perhaps, in isolated cases.

My opinion...

i think we need to be ready who ever will be the "instrument" of death, it may be radical muslims, or any other, it may be our neighbours that are the "average" person in our nations, when the spirit of antichrist will reach the point where it all goes down, all who are not HIS will be against us and will think the world will be a better place without Christians.

i always have been struck by what Jesus said in many verses, where he says and speaks about we being "witness" to him, for him, and the word is the same as for martyr in greek, and in revelation it occurs many times.

In the early church martyrdom was viewed upon as the highest act of discipleship. In our day much has changed, and we see it as we need to "do" something to fight this, but this spirit will increase and increase and it will not be stoppable nor fightable, we may be able to "stop" radical islam or any other group that threats people, but in the end it will come upon the earth, its already here, in most parts of the world the church suffers great persecution, we should aid them by prayer and in all areas we can, and prepare to follow our Lords footsteps ourselves as true witnesses to HIM.

May God help us all, especially me

sermonindex Sep 10, 2009

Even if we do endure martyrdom, and have not learned how to love; what good is it?

1COR 13...

The hardest steps to enduring martyrdom come when we may be cut off while driving to work, or angrily confronted in an unjust way by our spouse, or neighbor, or child. Do we bear our death, our cross now,and learn to love now? or will we save it up for that day, when we will really be spiritual, and suffer beheading for God?

I see the parable of the TEN VIRGINS in this light. The oil stored is the anointing stored through a life of Love and devotion. When the day of suffering comes, This one will already be crucified, and as Stephen, ready to love in the face of imminent and violent death.

The rest, the other 5, possibly the selfish and religious ones, just think they love, and justify themselves. They will not have His Presence and Grace to endure. This is at the heart of faith.

HmmHmm...I liked your post, and agree.

I understand that much of it is spiritual and anti semitically and anti Christian in a devilish way. I think though that there are also other contributing factors though I am still trying to work it all out and am not sure if I will ever unless I hear straight from God.

Namely, that the US and Europe have hoarded the worlds wealth and enslaved other non caucasian races and so forth. Also, fundamental Judaism though righteous by the calling of God when it was militant and so bring another Islamic motive. The US and Europe has also been Christian influenced and mixed that with war. Also, in many ways the US is immoral.

-The US being immoral motivates Islam.

-The west hoarding the wealth and fiscally persecuting others motivates Islam.

-Race motivates Islam.

-Judaisms historic militancy motivates Islam.

-Christianity's compromise in war has motivated Islam.

-Among other things...

So, I am not sure we should always blame it on the other things. Another questions should be raised in that is the US even more immoral in all their sins of liberalism and fiscal oppressiveness ect? Is Christianity to blame and be judged because of compromise and living by the sword?

What do you all think about this?

Or maybe it is okay for Christians to support war against Islam. I mean the government are the ministers of God for righteousness. So if the government is trying to stop an evil ideology that is harmful to man then we should support it?

I have seen the video. It is something scary and very disturbing. What jumped out at me as I listened was the complete zeal and faith that these jihadists seem to have for their cause --- it's the kind of zeal (without the violence of course) and faith that I would have expected to find among Christians.

Definitely something to pray hard about.

Well said Chapel. Pieces like this video can often serve to be only distractions for the Christian. But I think there may be a useful purpose for them; they can help us determine where our peace lies.

We should ask ourselves if we are disturbed and distracted by the storms that God's providence allows in this world. Above the facts of war and pain God reigns supreme and peaceful. Does my mind turn to Him in the storm? It's a great test of being right with God. If I'm not right with Him my mind only turns to myself.

As Oswald Chambers said...

If I allow anything to hide the face, the countenance, the memory, the consideration of our Lord Jesus from me, then I am either disturbed or I have a false security. ‘Consider Him ... that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls’ (Heb. xii. 3). Nothing else is in the least like His peace. It is the peace of God, which passeth all understanding. Are you looking unto Jesus just now in the immediate pressing matter and receiving from Him peace? Then He will be a gracious benediction of peace in and through you.

As always be wise as serpents, gentle as doves.

Go proclaim the gospel to everyone! This includes the muslims in your sphere of influence.
Show them your love for them and that that love has cast out all fear, right?

You may want to get a copy of the quran so you know what it really says about, Jesus and all that is claimed of Him.

Pray for our leadership that we might continue to proclaim the word without hindrance and in peace.

God bless.

I looked at this video and was very disturbed, not so much about how they wish to conquer the western world but their anger, their hatred. How can a person hate so much? Hate and anger - they must feed each other in order for it to function, apparently.

And I wonder - what kind of wives do these men have? Do they abuse them? Are their wives angry with them, hence their frustration that they will take it out on other innocent folks?

What drives this frenzy? is it the anticipation of deflowering '70' virgins?

Anger, hatred - I do not know of any males who come anywhere close to matching up with the hatred I saw displayed on this video. The males in my realm are kind - kind to man, child, women and beast.

Oh, how my heart goes out to those mothers who gladly surrender their sons to death for Allah's sake. I cannot imagine the grief a person would have to feel once they are enlightened to what they have sent their sons to.

I am befuddled how any person could be a possessor of such hatred and anger...

Could it really happen? Yes.

However I don't know that it has to happen, or if it does that it will remain such.

THE ANCIENT AND POWERFUL PRINCE OF PERSIA

In Daniel, 11, verse 38, we read of "the God of fortresses", the god of the anti-Christ, the one who will be destroyed and crushed by the Lord Himself.

Daniel is the only book written partly in Chaldean. In the Strong's concordance we read the Hebrew translation of the original Chaldea, but the transliterated title of Persian, it states:

"ALA MAHOZINE"....THE GOD OF FORTRESSES.

[ TWO BABYLONS...ALEXANDER HISLOP page 30...]

We read of the cruelty of the Babylonian armies upon Jerusalem...as depicted by Jeremiah. Babies are murdered for sport, and torture seems the order of the day.

Even the holy angels of heaven struggled 21 days with him, [ and then more..] before breaking through to Daniel..[chpt. 10, 11.]

Hitler acted in similar ways, as have despots over the millenia. When evil sits above the nation, the character and desires of it's rebellion become melded with the people. Remember Sodom. We will pray more in the days to come, for this exact spirit will be given authority over every tongue , tribe and nation, to TEST the entire Earth. It is ALA...or Allah.

I almost forgot. There were scores of children and infants murdered in 9-11...and as the video shows, hundreds of young school children slaughtered in Chechnia.

Islam is a religion of murder and intimidation, and always has had motivation to enslave the entire world with it....It is the nature of the beast....Allah.

Hi everyone.

I have watched this video several times over the weekend. I wanted to say something about it.

I do not see in the actions of these people an expression of faith in God.

I see these things as a supression of every base and evil energy that is latent in man and the channeling of them into a singular focus.

Strapping bombs on 6 year old children or teaching them how to behead another human being, or slaughtering a mass of school children when faced with your own destruction are not acts of faith and trust in God, or self-sacrifce.

As I see it, they are acts of self-assertion, empowered by the base energies of the human soul, into a form of religous expression that is hate.

Greetings again to all.

After thinking about this some more I wanted to write a few more things to you all if I could.

First, I didn't mean to disagree with Leo about the zeal and faith that is expressed by these groups for their cause.

Maybe I could add a thoguht to that: that is, that maybe the same or even greater zeal and faith is present among Christians, but it is not seen. And it is not published or made known, in the newspapers and headlines of this world. It doesn't result in bombs and buildings and cars being blown to pieces.

But it is done in quite. In secret service to others and in the laying down of thier lives for faith in Christ and for others. When no one in the world is watching or knows.

Wanted to say also that when I mentioned the base energies of the human soul, what I meant was things like lust, fear, anger and guilt.

And too, I didn't mean to suggest that there isn't a certain level of love and sacrifice in what is being done.

Recently I had started to read a little book again that was published by Pastor Wurmbrand under a penname. The book is titled Jesus Friend To Terrorists.

I think that a sample from one chapter might be appropriate here if I may share:

Terrorists are idealists, usually with beautiful concepts of liberty, justice, a readiness for self-sacrifice, a willingness to go to the uttermost in the service of what they consider a worthy cause, and also loyalty, measured by the severe punishment they mete out to disloyal comrades.

We are wrong to think there is little love in the world. Tigers kill to provide food for their cubs. I knew a man who killed for money to buy his little son a costly toy the boy had seen in a shop window. The father was poor and could not bear the tears of his child, who knew other boys received toys from their fathers. This man committed a crime prompted by love.

Tigers and men(even the worst) have some love, however instinctive or misguided, for their young. There is love in the world. But it needs to be enlarged to embrace wider spheres and to be channeled toward better causes. Wolves kill men; dogs defend men to the death. Yet both wolves and dogs have common ancestors.

God enabled me to bring to Christ a mass murderer who, during World War II, had killed many Jews, even children, and boasted of what he had done. He had been told that Jews were a threat to his fatherland, which he loved. God gave him the grace to see that love limited to one's fatherland can be enlarged. It can comprehend men of other nations and other social groups. Later I had written proof that this criminal became a savior of men, saving the lives of many who were condemned to death.

- from the book Jesus - Friend to Terrorists. Pages 19-20. By Richard Wurmbrand.

The title of the chapter is Enlarge Your Love.

Dear ChrisJD,

You are right. There are many Christians whose lives are filled with faith, and a zeal and love for God and fellow man that far exceeds the zeal shown by jihadists. Most of them live their lives and suffer quietly, unknown and unheralded, in keeping with God's teaching. I know of them, and have met some of them in other countries where keeping the faith is a daily life-or-death struggle.

I should have said that I wish there were more Christians such as this, particularly in the USA. I say this with love and sincere hope for revival.

In Christ's Love,
Leo

To convey, share, live, show the reality of a life, truly forgiven of sin and a new life in Christ; this is the goal of God and the christian towards all men.

The muslim is under a heavy weight of sin and law and bondage. Where this sin and bondage abounds Gods grace and mercy and new life can abound more!!!

Many muslims have left Islam for Christ. Many more who are here in America will be won to Him!
