When you don't know what to do

K

remember God does and knows everything. That is the time we need to remember He alone can direct our path, and tell us what to do. Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing but wait on Him, in His Presence, and pour out our hearts to Him alone, because it's a sure thing talking to people will only make it worse and never helps except to ease the tension in the flesh. Whatever is going on, it's allowed of God for a reason. He knows what He's doing and nothing comes our way that He doesn't know about first, and allow. He will not allow that to come which we cannot handle. But we must remember when we feel we can't go on anymore and are so discouraged we are ready to give up and just go hide, don't hide from Him. Draw strength from Him. Trust in His love and goodness.
Psa 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psa 46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psa 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Psa 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

I believe Carter Conlon's sermon by the name of the title of the thread, would be a blessing to anyone who is seeking God for strength and guidance.
