What is it like in the Garden of Eden?

"And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed." - Genesis 2:8

First, and foremost, it is a place of pleasure, for that is what Eden means in Hebrew - pleasure. It is also an enclosed place, a protected place, which is seen in the Hebrew definition of garden.

Given the Hebrew definition of Eden, man was supposed to live in an enclosed, protected place.

For the believer, God takes the place of Eden.
