I am learning to rejoice in weakness, that is maybe the greatest revelation of all. Rejoicing in our weakness so that the power of Christ may rest upon us. His strength is perfected only in weakness.
In the past I saw weak people as objects to be pitied, and helped and encouraged, but "I the man of God" need to be strong!! This is totally wrong. The weak and foolish are not just people to be pitied and have compassion on, they are the very cornerstone of Gods kingdom. God has chosen the weak, so if I want to be strong I MUST become weak in my own strength. In 1 Corinthians the Lord is declaring all the strength and wisdom and power of man null and void and is forever declaring the very core values of the Kingdom, namely humilty, weakness....just like Jesus said "I Praise you Father, that you have hidden these things from the wise and the prudent, but you have revealed them to BABES, so it was well-pleasing in your sight" ...hallelujah!!
