Colin Peckham called home to be with Our Lord

I missed this if it has already been posted on Sermonindex. The service was the day before the Wales conference.

on Monday 9th November 2009 at his home in Broxburn near Edinburgh, Scotland, Rev Dr Colin Peckham was suddenly and quietly called home to be with the Lord. We would appreciate your prayers for his wife Mary and children Colin, Heather and Christine at this time. There will be a service of thanksgiving at Charlotte Chapel, West Rose Street, Edinburgh on Monday 16th November 2009 at 10.30am. All friends are welcome to attend.

I checked the archives of the Charlotte Chapel website but could not find a copy of the service. I sent them an email inquiry.

I love Colin and Mary. I first met them in the 90's in Canada. At the time I loved doing calligraphy of God's Word and had just done Matthew 6: 33, with a lone stalk of wheat with gold seeds. As I prayed for the conference, I was impressed to bring a framed copy of this for the Peckhams whom I had never heard of. Like a love-greeting as I thought this was their first time over here. What joy and weeping when I learned this verse was related to their ministry and that they were in a period of transition that this verse addressed.

Not long ago he finished a book, [i]Sounds From Heaven[/i] that I have not read. We have wonderful messages by him (also from Mary) on Sermonindex including a multi-part video of his carefully documented history of the Hebrides revival, in which Mary, his future wife, was soundly born again and called into ministry.

Psm. 116: 15 - Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

If I recall correctly, Alan Bartley spoke of the funeral in his message at Wales.
