Request From the SermonIndex Moderator re: discussions

sermonindex Dec 16, 2009

Saints,

Here is a small request that I pray that many of the regular discussion forum users can comply to as much as possible. When you are posting a new thread please take time to consider where you are posting it. If it is a news item it does not go into the general topics area. If it a prayer request it does not go into the general topics area. If it s an sermon article or audio sermon it goes most of the time into the sermons and articles section.

thank you saints for helping with this. This keeps the general topics area being free from "every post" or the categories will become useless.

myself and the other moderators have to move topics daily and I want to see if we can minimize this work if alot of the regulars take initiative to be careful where they post.

thank you saints.

Yea, I see you moved my "media entrainment" over to news&current events. I had actually thought of putting it there but I thought well thats not "NEWS" like from the news outlets. But I see it's that as well as a "current" event. So I will try and do better.
Thanks.

How precious these usually hidden services are to Him.

I am led to use this list to encourage members in the congregation that are NOT standing to serve on a board. Along the lines of listing these with the suggestion of praying and seeking God what among these services He would have each of us to do. The point being a biblical balance/perspective to servants and service in a public yearly "commissioning" event.

GREG:All of your bible references checked out except John 13:3. I tried the reversals. It was His act of service but not like the other references were specific.
