Hi there - couldn't find this name on the site (William Branham - passed away in 60's or early 1970's), and heard of him recently. Does anyone know of a place I could hear / read something from him?

By the way, i did hear that he got off a little toward the end (??) - but the early radio sermons are worth listening to.
Yes Ruthie....There is at least one organization that dispenses his recordings and written sermons. Google... branham.org....there are more for sure.
I have read several books about him, the most recent by a Swedish fellow, and one of his associates named Clayt Sonmore...[ former Full gospel Businessmen executive ]....{Thy kingdom come ministries}, who has written several in depth books about Branham. Ern Baxter was also a companion/organizer/promoter in the early years of his ministry. Branham was the leader of the Pentecostal healing movement of the early 50s.
Generally, none of his prophecies failed, yet he believed he was the PROPHET [ Elijah ] who was to come, and the 7th messenger to Earth . His followers yet gather at his grave site in Jeffersonville Indiana every Easter to witness his bodily resurrection. [ I've been to this site.] there is a rather large marble pyramid as his head stone, inscribed with some of his core grandiose statements and ideas about himself....[ comparing him with Enoch, Abraham, Elijah etc. ]
Branham was indeed an enigma, displaying amazing power and healings, of a true Apostolic ilk; yet oddly self absorbed in the magnitude of his own calling. The devil used this to his own detriment and destruction.

I would not endorse or support his ministry. He was used of God in his early days but even then there was alot of controversy. I would steer clear from such muddied waters. Especially now the followers who glorify him as the "elijah" of the end times.
