As you get ready to celebrate His birth read this Letter from Jesus

Jesudoss Dec 21, 2009

Dear loved ones,
As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated.
During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.
It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.
I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .... and I wanted to be with them and share their table.
In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing along white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" .. as if the party were in his honor! At 12 Midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and ... do you know ... no one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, may be,there was one for me.What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left. Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me.
I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.
I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside.
Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.
See you soon.
I Love you!
Jesus Christ

Strange letter.

Don't know what to make of it.

I understand and agree with the sentiment of this post and the points that are being made. However I don't like the way this has been written as in the first person of Jesus speaking. The tone of how you have portrayed our Lord Jesus Christ I believe is dis-respectful and lacks reverence for the Lord of Glory.

They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing along white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk.
Jesus wouldn't stoop this low and talk this way. This is a letter of the flesh. Jesus is the LORD of LORD's and the King of Kings. He knows who are His and He knows who will be His. He shed His blood on Calvary and cleansed the whole world.

This display of "BooHoo", this, "I am all alone at Christmas again Jesus" is not the Jesus that we believe in. This is the Charismatic Jesus, the so called Jesus that is weeping and crying all the time, the one that everyone says God's heart is breaking.

Poppycock! God's heart isn't breaking. And Jesus isn't crying. Do you think that God is a God that doesn't know anything? Do you think that He is doesn't know the end from the beginning?

If He displays His anger or shows any emotion, they are displayed for our benefit and His good pleasure.

Here is God laying on His bed, "Oh woe is Me, I died for them and they still don't recognize Me, what am I going to do? Jesus my Son, come here, I need to talk to you. What am I going to do my Son, they are all rejecting Me at Christmas. No one loves Me, I am all alone. My heart is breaking. What am I going to do, what can I do?" Jesus then says, "Well Father, um..er..you are God Almighty, if you don't know, who does know?

Sounds like a sappy God, and that letter was just as sappy.

The only letters directly dictated by Christ are in Revelation 2-3, and they were pronounced with eyes of flame and feet of brass...those feet later trounce the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of God. Maybe we ought warn people of that instead of making up stuff that Jesus never said. The word is powerful enough, the only place where Jesus stands outside knocking is the door of churches, not outside sinners hearts. For that matter, Christmas is not a biblicaly endorsed holiday.

Your intentions are probably sincere and I hope you mean no harm Jesuscan, but we must be careful never to speak anything our Lord never spoke in His name...this is a dangerous thing to do. Galatians warns us about this in chapter one, I know you are not preaching another gospel necessarily, but I would add that we must not presume to speak for God unless it is something that directly lines up with the nature and Character of God, and the Spirit bears witness to it through the scriptures.

Hey:-)
I read over this letter that I am posting below it was written to get one to think...it is not scripture but I still found that it was worth sharing. There are some that may not care for it, I know some of my unsaved family do not like it much...they do not like hearing that they are sinners.

hope you will be blessed

Dear Ones,

You have heard a lot about Me. That’s because I chose you to be born where I make my home—right in the middle of some of My people. But hearing about Me isn’t the same as Tasting and Touching Me for yourself. I want you to know Me!

One day I was nailed to a cross to pay the penalty for your sin. I suffered in unbelievable agony. When stakes were hammered into My body, the pain was brutal. When the weight of My bloodied body pulled against the three spikes that pierced My hands and feet, it hurt more than you can imagine. It was more than a person’s mind can take. But that pain wasn’t the worst part of My cross!

The most painful, terrifying thing I experienced in My thirty-three years in a human body wasn’t caused by whips or nails. It was caused by sin! All of your sins separated Me from My Father.

You see, my Father decided before the world was ever created that I would come to earth to rescue each person from their sin. I had to take on the guilt for every selfish act you have ever done and every bad attitude that you have ever had. The pain was terrible because it kept Me separated from My Father, My Dad. As a penalty for your sins, I felt the loss of My Father’s Presence. Until then, He had always been so close to Me. It was then—when I was separated from My Father—that I tasted the Darkness and Death that you have known.

If you have not yet known Me first-hand, you have only lived in this Separation. I do not want it to stay that way. Do not think yourself alive until you have Touched Me! Never let yourself feel at home in this world without Me! I made you for Myself. Search for Me! You will find Me when you search with ALL your heart. I promise!

Yours Truly, Jesus

Dear Jesudoss and wind_blows,

I know that you posted with good intentions, so thank you both for that.

All I can say is, no matter how well-meaning or honorable one's motives may be, it is always wrong (and blasphemous in my opinion) to put words in the mouth of God that he had never spoken.

God's spoken word is in Scripture. If we wish to convey an edifying message, let us do so in our own name and not hijack the Lord's name for what is essentially our own message.

In Christ,
Leo

P.S. wind_blows, that second post was based on true Scripture -- thank you. :-)

Hey Leo

No worries here. I do agree with you that if I had posted these as being scripture there would be a huge issue and completely wrong but since I did not, I think that should be taken into consideration. Also there is nothing in either one of these uplifting thoughts that is not based on what we know from the Bible. Jesus did come in the flesh, suffer because of our sin, and die to save us. He did suffer unspeakable anguish being separated from His Father and He does desire for us not to continue on in that separation that is why He calls us to Himself so that we might be saved:-) Although Jesus did not actually write this letter it does convey His heart from the Bible, at least it does for me:-)

Sorry the first was not a blessing to you brother. Have a really super awesome day and know that you are loved:-)

with care in Him
your little sis in Christ

Edit:
I should have mentioned that the first letter was used as a tool to teach some young ones, to help them understand who Jesus is and what He did for us and them:-)
