prayer request

Greetings

This past August my dad passed away, at the time he was married to a lady who has a mentally handicapped daughter. She was very close to my dad and always considered him to be her own dad. I just got a card from my dads wife and she asks if we might please pray for her daughter, she is very upset and still feeling very sad at the loss of my dad. She asks for him daily and is hoping that he will come home to be with them for Christmas. She does not understand that he has died. If you feel so led please remember her in your prayers.

Maybe you could tell her about her real father - that would more than ease the pain. :-)

Thank you for your thoughts, she does know about Jesus to the best of her limited mental understanding. She only has the understanding of about a 4 1/2 year old. She forgets that he died and wants him to come home. She does not fully understand what has happened. For those who feel led to pray for her that God would grant her comfort and peace of heart, thank you.

I have prayed, and will continue to pray, but I am sincere in what I have said. Tell her more about Him, read her stories - fill the empty hole with thoughts of Jesus and He will do the rest.
